Lovely clean tidy campsite with great facilities. Easy access to site and plenty of space per pitch.Dog friendly and dog walk from site. We took a 20 min walk to Old Malton where we found a pleasant pub (The Wentworth Arms) with a great Sunday lunch.Close proximity to A64 therefore some traffic noise.

Excellent new facilities in the shower & kitchen block & all very clean. The kitchen was well kitted out with thoughtful touches such as tea, coffee and washing up liquid provided. Fridge and microwave useful too.The only improvement would be to have wider hard standing pitches on the campsite. They are too narrow especially in wet & muddy weather when the grass either side becomes waterlogged & churned up underfoot.

Thanks for a lovely stay and a couple of nice chats. I was lucky enough to only have one other camper on site and enjoyed being there in full Autumn colour.

Immaculate as always the management have given thought to everything you could need here. Very quiet a good place to unwind .Malton not too far away with lots of interesting independent shops as well as the more well known supermarkets..Queens Head Cantonese restaurant at Amotherby a must againThank you

This was our second visit this year and it did not disappoint although it’s coming towards the end of the busy season the site was still in perfect order the toilet and shower facilities were warm and clean. The site is perfectly level with good access and good spacing easy access to the river derwent for walks along the riverbank .Near to the Malton and Norton-on-Derwent it’s nice to spend a day exploring the villages shops, cafes and coffee shops. A lovely part of Yorkshire.

Lovely small site with excellent facilities. The road noise from the A64 does reach the site, but this is not really prohibitive. An excellent base from which to explore the surrounding areas.

This was our 2nd visit and was as good as the first time. We love the proximity to Malton which you can easily walk to, but especially lovely the facilities and ambience of the campsite. So many thoughtful touches...fresh flowers in the bathrooms and underfloor heating. Also like the fact the washrooms are available through the day even though they're regularly cleaned. The owners are very friendly and care about making the site welcoming.

Wonderful family run campsite. Large pitch, great value, heated shower block with very clean facilities. The kitchen is superb, making cooking easy whilst staying in our camper van. Lovely personal touches of fresh flowers, farm eggs, and creative displays. A great walk from the campsite along the river bank to Malton.

This was the second time we have stayed here. The owners are very polite and helpful and the site is immaculate. The toilets, showers and campers kitchen are spotless. We will definitely be back again.
