Only an hour away from home but would definitely come again. The owner was lovely and showed a real interest in her campers. The facilities were amazing brand new toilet block and the shower was amazing made a real impression on us as they were large with plenty of room. We had a walk along the river bank from the site (1.2 miles) into old Malton and stopped for a refreshing drink at the pub. Highly recommend to couples and families. Looking to go back in the very near future.

A brilliant location for sightseeing in North Yorkshire. The campsite was immaculate with a fantastic toilet and shower block. A lovely little dog walk on site too. Probably the best small campsite we've camped on (& there have been many). The beautiful town of Malton was a few minutes' drive away and there's plenty to see and do within half an hour, including Castle Howard, NYMR, Dalby Forest and York. We had our springer spaniel with us and we found everywhere to be very dog friendly. A really lovely, peaceful site where we stayed for 9 days.

An amazing and peaceful campsite that we had the pleasure of staying at. Wyse House has been my favourite site to have booked with, and so much that I immediately booked another stay whilst we were there. The location is desirable, and close to many amenities and the cost, which was perfect for our family. The site is meticulously maintained and has a wonderful atmosphere, it is a quiet site, and that will always be our preference, all fellow campers were polite and friendly. The Owner and hosts could not be more helpful, you were always greeted with a warm smile, and took the time to have conversations with you.The facilities on site are also great, the showers and toilets are spotless and cleaned daily, there was never a time when a shower was unavailable. My DD and DN loved the children's play facilities and would have stayed there all day if allowed, they both asked to come back as soon as we arrived. The views and nature were just outstanding.

Great Site!

Wyes House Farm is a great sized resort, not too many people cramped in, with really good facilities. The river walk down to Malton took us 45 minutes so was great for enjoying food and drink and not worrying about driving.Only 40 minutes drive to Whitby with a very straight forward route.Only downside was the wifi signal wasn’t very strong so we couldn’t connect to it, so any TV/Netflix we wanted to watch before bed had to be done through our phones internet.Apart from that it was a perfect resort for us.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful little site. Excellent facilities - clean, tidy and well thought out. An absolute gem.It was the hottest 2 days of the year but I was able to tuck myself under the pine trees in the shade and it was glorious! I spent a happy couple of days relaxing, watching the sheep and the hares and walking down to the river bank. Malton & Pickering are both close by but I found Pickering had more places open on Sunday than Malton did. Fish & chips, coffee shops, ice cream and a little Co-op tucked away that had a great selection of pastries, bread & cold drinks (incl alcohol free). Also check out the church behind the high street with its medieval wall painting of George & the Dragon.
