We stayed for one night on a premium touring pitch, guite good view over the bay. The site is spotlessly clean, staff welcoming, the indoor pool is warm with good changing facilities, the outdoor pool is small but safe. The clubhouse is large & staff friendly. It is close to the village , has a path which takes 10 minutes, it wouldn't be suitable for prams, wheelchairs or anyone not great on their feet. Would definetely stay again.

We visited Woolacombe Sands Holiday Resort right at the end of the season and I must say it was the perfect getaway. The facilities were immaculate, yhe children's play area a godsend and we loved having the use of the indoor pool. We enjoyed walks, local pubs and particularly enjoyed the clubhouse activities in the evening. We'll definitely be returning.

Stayed this time for the fireworks. Staff were very welcoming on arrival, would only suggest one thing, as a disabled camper driver it’s difficult to walk down to check in and back after driving a long way, maybe a couple o suitable bays next to shop for this? Reception staff drew directions on map to pitch. Got to pitch to find it left in a good condition. The Friday evening we headed down to the clubhouse for some dinner…. This is where I was not impressed. In previous years the food had been good. (For a holiday park) half of our order came out stone cold. The food itself did not taste great. Like I said, previously food has been good. The rest of our stay was pleasant.

Woolacombe Sands is a wonderful place to stay in North Devon.We have stayed here many times and just love the place.Accommodation was spotless with views to die for of the sea and countryside and the wildlife.The staff are so lovely, pleasant and helpful.Lots to do including the lovely pool(indoor at this time of year) and clubhouse.Gate Keepers was lovely as was the caravan we stayed in in the springtime.We try to visit at least once per year and are looking forward to our visit next year already.

Overall a good friendly site with excellent programme to keep kids entertained all day, everyday. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.If I had one complaint it was the take away service from the shop, I had a 40 minute wait for a jacket potato that I was told 15 minutes. This i found unacceptable as it was not busy either.

I’ve stayed in North Devon all my life, this was my first time at Woolacombe Sands and it did not disappoint.The booking team were really helpful, the views are spectacular, the walk to the beach is really accessible and comfortable.When we arrived to our Sea View Gold it smelt lovely and fresh, it is the cleanest and freshest caravan I’ve ever stayed in and it was dog friendly!All felt at home straight away. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. My dog settled straight away too.We loved the dog exercise area, well stocked shop, clean tidy site, short walk to the beach.There were lots of activities for younger children and my teens enjoyed a few games of pool and some bingo in the clubhouseThey said the swimming pool was clean and modern but was a bit too busy the morning they went as everyone else had the same idea as it was raining so they couldn’t really swim.

My in laws walked down to the beach and we had to pick them up on the way back, as the path was so muddy and they didnt fell it was safe for them or my 4year old on,if he did the walk to the beach. It definitely needs an upgrade and to be made safer.But other than that an amazing time and wonderful staff.
