Only stayed overnight whilst hiking, but would happily come back for a longer stay
Have stayed here year after year. It's very quiet and peaceful and away from any traffic. Its kept very clean and well kept. Showers and toilets are apart by a few yards but that isn't an issue. If your looking for a pub near by then you have a short drive with several more in Grassington it's self where all do wonderfull food. For a quiet break away in the country side with owls hooting at night give it a try. We will be back once again next year.
Good value and well maintained site.Own transport needed.
Very friendly site in a superb local location. Site owner very helpful nothing was to much trouble. Local bus service very patchy. All facilities on site very good especially toilets and shower block.
While driving through the gates along the road to reception, we got overwhelming sense of peace and tranquility. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Mike. He gave us a map of the site with directions to the campsite. As we were out of season, we were able to choose our pitch. The shower block was separate from the toilet block and both were immaculate. There was also a mini laundrette and outside there were two covered cleaning stations for washing pots and pans.Attached to reception was a small gift shop which we found to be reasonably priced.Wood Nook is a Haven of Peace and Tranquility.
Good facilities Would prefer it iwithout the constant piped music in the toilets.but otherwise good. Thanks
We had a 3 night stay at the woodnook site, was not sure what to expect, we arestill new to the touring caravan sites, on arrival we were greeted by the owner who explained everything to us,including the electric barrier at the entrance whi h works from your car number plate, the pitch was big enough for our caravan porch and our car a added bonus was a level pad for the carvan axle to park on, electric is by a card system £10 did us 3 nights, the site facilities were clean and tidy with music in the toilets and loads of hot water in the showers, plenty of stunning walks straight from the park and the best dog walk we have been to, all fenced in so can run free, there is a children's play area, and a trip into Grassington is a must, more walks there including a trip to Linton falls, all in all a peaceful site with owls calling at night and deer barking in the morning ,yes the road is a bit narrow going up to the site but we never had any problems. Can't wait to go again
Super camp site! Neat and tidy and we got a very friendly welcome from the owner.
The only negative was the pitches - not level in any way and at least ramps would be needed. Perhaps some remedial work to level the gravel would assist units to level their vehicles. Otherwise great site very helpful owners very peaceful and great location for walking and for Grassington
Lovely campsite, with emplacements, tubs of flowers, fairy lights, coffee & croissants - perfect! Also clean facilities, and a little jar of lemon curd. 5*!
