Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. Toilets lovely and warm and clean. Couldn't ask for more. Definitely recommend.
First time staying and will definitely return. Great site, wonderful views, very friendly owner and fantastic facilities.
Really friendly, great toilet and showers, good pitches - nothing to fault. Added bonus was the on-site pizza and coffee. Will definitely return.
Such a lovely weekend stay for our family. Wonderful & kind hosts, Haley & Michael were so welcoming & helpful. Nice & very clean facilities with lovely warm bathrooms & hot showers, perfect as the weather turned a little chilli on our stay. Delicious pizzas on the Saturday evening. Kids enjoyed the ball game field & the park & gorges walk from site up the public footpath. We visited Grassington village, Stumpcross cavins & Billybobs. A family of happy campers. I have already recommended Wood Nook to several people & we will definitely be back to do more exploring of the beautiful area. Thanks for having us Wood Nook :)
We spent 3 nights here and it was well located for walks to Malham, Kilnsey, Grassington etc. We slept well because people respected the no noise after 11 rule. The toilets and showers were great - well heated, with plenty of hot water and the radio playing in the background was an unusual but nice touch. We didn't use the electric hookups but they're an option on all pitches I think. The little shop at reception is useful for essentials and the barn cafe was popular in the mornings for coffee and cake. The site is surrounded by woodland and it was lovely seeing pheasants and hearing owls. We look forward to coming back.
Wood Nook was just perfect! It’s a small family-run campsite a 30 minute walk from Grassington. We stayed in the field on a grass pitch with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. It’s spotless and has everything you need. A highlight was the little pop up coffee station in the small courtyard barn, with lovely coffee and freshly baked pastries each morning. The showers and toilets were spotless, lovely and warm. It is a quiet and peaceful site accessed along a sweeping drive. It has a little reception area with a small amount of provisions you might need. A lovely touch was being given a little jar of lemon curd on arrival. The surrounding area is very pretty and we did a couple of lovely walks directly from the campsite. I wouldn’t hesitate returning.
We have visited on several occasions and always found the owners very friendly and welcoming. Facilities are excellent. We stayed in the campfield this time with our campervan and found it very good with spacious pitches. Added bonus this time was wonderful homemade cake and brownies, fresh coffee and pizzas . We did not Try the pizzas but they seemed very popular and reasonably priced.
Michael and his family run a superb campsite. We love staying there. It is spotlessly clean, well maintained and also now has a coffee shop at wk ends, cakes and pastries every day and also pizzas on certain days. Nothing is ever too much trouble
Very well organised and helpful staff liked the meter system very economical and fair regards david
Had a couple of nights there after a lengthy gap of 20+ years. Still a lovely site with views all around. Friendly owner. Didn't use the facilities and got a refund from our electric usage.
