Excellent location. Facilities top class. Shower and toilets spotless. Well stocked shop on site. Pizza nights on site. Coffee and pastries available. Wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend
A hidden gem. Very peaceful; many moorland walks from the site; within walking distance of small supermarket (Threshfield), and to Grassington Village and Linton Falls. Site utilities excellent and exceptionally clean. Owner most friendly and helpful. Delicious fresh pastries and cakes in the shop. We will definitely come here again - thank you Wood Nook.
Small basic site
Had a lovely weekend break away. First time here and was impressed. Toilets and showers very clean and plenty of hot water. The pizza's made on site were very tasty. On a morning barrista coffee and Danish were available to buy. The shop selling their homemade jams and chutney (very nice).Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing break with the sky at night just listening for nature sounds
Everything at this campsite was spot on. We got a lovely warm welcome, the camping pitches were spacious with lovely views. Toilets and showers were very clean and warm. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be returning
One of the best campsites we've visited in a long time. Pitches are great, facilities great, food great and people great! Can't wait to return 😍
Great staff, great location, excellent facilities, excellent pizza at night and excellent coffee and pastries in the morning.
We had a wonderful stay at Wood Nook. The site has such a warm welcoming and the facilities are brilliantly looked after and clean. The site is not overcrowded and felt really peaceful and quiet; whilst it was still evident that families were there enjoying themselves. We enjoyed a freshly baked pizza on the Friday night and then had some lovely pastries for breakfast on the Sunday! We also bought some jam and homemade cakes whilst we were there which were equally as lovely. We loved it so much, we have booked to return in 3 weeks!
Efficient book in and good directions to pitch. Nice quiet site with great views and lovely cut grass. Toilets good, shower not so good. Very small cubicle with only hooks to put clothes etc. (easily dropped on to wet floor). Water not hot enough with nowhere to change temperature. Push button for water, that was stiff and only have about 5 seconds of water. Floor very wet to try to put on dry clothes and the shower filled my shoes outside of the curtain, and as there was no shelf, had to put my glasses and phone in them, and they got soaked too! Lovely place, but showers let it down.
We found Wood Nook to be a genuinely nice place to stay. The site owners were very friendly and helpful and we loved the pop up bar and the fresh pastries. Would recommend Wood Nook to anyone looking for a unique place to base yourself in the Dales.
