Lovely clean site efficient staff and toilets excellent In a good position to get into wells and surrounding areas

Lovely site, beautifully kept, good facilities, good sized pitches, friendly helpful staff, easy 25 minute walk into Wells.

We loved our stay in Wells at the end of our tour of Devon and Cornwall. It was the most expensive site we stayed in during the whole holiday. More expensive than St Ives or corfe castle. I get there is no competition and it was the food festival weekend. We had no idea. But it's still a bit expensive.

Site was lovely and clean with well marked pitches although none of them looked level and we needed ramps to level the van up and even then we were still on a slope! Everyone was very friendly.Mats in showers could do with a deep clean as looked grubby but the rest of the showers and facilities were spotlessDespite there being dog poo bins there was dog muck on the grass next to our van (2 different dogs) I know that's not the fault of the site but disappointing! Overall its a nice site and very convenient for Wells, Cheddar and Wookey.

Excellent service as always

This is our third stay at this lovely adults only site, beautifully kept pitches and clean warm facilities, only one little criticism the press button showers didn’t stay on for long enough. But the water was lovely and hot . Very friendly and welcoming reception.We didn’t try the bar/ cafe but it looked really nice.Only a 20-30 minute easy walk into Wells centre, or a short bus ride , stop outside the park gates , and only a couple of miles from Wookey Hole and its attractions.Definitely worth a visit , and looking forward to returning sometime soon .

Amazing campsite. Superb pitches, superb washroom excellent location to walk into wells. Good fields next door to let dogs have a run. Lovely bar area. Really lovely staff. Will definitely be back. Absolutely recommend it 100%

Only one issue to comment on and that's the showers which I felt were not as expected from such a well appointed site. No shower head in the two showers I used and I did feel the push button system tiresome as the delay time was short, just a matter of a few seconds which is fine if you are young and agile but not so good for us older guys! On the upside I thought the music in the shower/toilet block was brilliant such a great idea. Your staff were all polite and helpful, one of the cleanest sites we have visited. We only stayed 2 nights but we will certainly book again in the near future.

We had a lovely stay here, facilities are spotless and the bar area is lovely. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because the pitches don’t have any hedging between them so feel quite exposed, the site is also a good 30 minutes walk from town which we expected. The welcome we had was lovely.
