The Park is a quality touring site, ideally located within a close walking distance of the historic city of Wells with its spectacular Cathedral and Bishops Palace, and the village of Wookey Hole with its magical caves and mill.

Our touring park is suitable for caravans, motor homes, trailer tents, fifth wheel units and RV’s. We would highly recommend to call and book RV’s and fifth wheel units as there are limited pitches available.

Touring pitches are all-weather hard standing with electric hook-up. Our park is equipped with an amenity block, laundry and disabled facilities. On site we sell essentials (milk, bread, bacon, eggs, biscuits etc.). We have free Wi-Fi throughout the park. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the park and in cottages. There is a maximum of two dogs per touring pitch. Dogs must be cleaned up after and kept on a lead at all times, unless using the exercise area provided.

A tidty, well laid out and well equipped site

We've stayed at the Wells Touring Site several times and on each visit the site has improved. A peaceful location with, mostly, well spaced pitches and plenty of greenery. A lovely lounge serving drinks and snacks, although on weekdays the bar closed a little early for our liking. (But perhaps the amount of custom when we were there didn't warrant a later opening.) Good, very clean shower and toilet block. Friendly and very helpful staff. Convenient bus stop just outsidde the site giving quick accerss to Wells. Plenty to see and do in the city. Well recommended.

Wonderful site so peaceful and relaxing. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Staff we welcoming and polite. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Easy walk into Wells from the site.

The site is perfect for Wells, a 30min walk or catch a bus from the entrance. The site is beautifully kept and so quiet.in the bar they have their own locally produced flavoured gin, rum and vodka, and sell fabulous cocktails in the bar. The owner let us taste whatever we wanted to try and we bought a few bottles to take back to the van. It’s just a great, grown up secluded spot that just makes you want to go aaahhhhhhhh! We will be back

Friendly welcome, very tidy site, good size pitches,Reception is connected to small internal bar and covered extension with open/closed sided area all very pleasant. View of Mendips from our pitch, no dog walk on site but extensive area just opposite across the road. We found this from the Tranquil Parks brochure and fit the format perfectly. Wells a short distance away worthy of a visit, Wooky hole also close by.

We had a fabulous time at Wells Touring Park. The check in was great and the staff member on duty has helpfulness itself. Getting onto out pitch was simple, and thankfully, a flat pitch. The facilities are good, and had a most enjoyable shower with nice hot water. We enjoyed the bar in the evening with the staff very friendly. Overall, our stay at Well Touring Park was an experience we will revisit later on.
