Everything about the touring part was excellent ;staff excellent helpful; clean well set out ,you can buy food there as well I believe the cook is there Friday, Saturday, Sunday, from 5 pm onwards but you’d have to check ,It has a lovely bar there ,good facilities ,25 minute walk to Wells city ,15 minute walk to a pub called I think the pub is called ring the bells pub.You can also get to Wookie hole. I didn’t this time as I’ve been before. There is a bus station outside that can get you to Wells and Weston-super-Mare. Don’t know how much it cost but for you that I’ve got them take your bus pass.. okay to cycle there and to the pub.You can have a taste of their own gin, vodka or rum and buy a small or normal size bottle if you wish.

Very clean facilities. Great hardstanding pitch. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the city. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately the weather was not good for 2 of our 7 day stay but on the other days we were able to get out to explore this interesting region. The caravan park is well laid out and the staff friendly and helpful. We did not use the "facilities" so cannot comment but saw that dishwashing and laundry were available as was a sizeable toilet/shower block. As we were on one of the conveniently sited fully serviced pitches we were able to enjoy the equipment in our caravan. There were some really nice looking chalets for hire and parking was available for cars on the generous sized pitches which were mainly of nice clean drainage shingle which was handy for the two days of persistent rain. The site also arranges take away food on some days and there is a handy cafe/ bar available. A visit to Wells Cathedral is a must and the are several National Trust properties within easy reach.

We chose this site for access to bus stop. Well looked after and run by charming people. Sunday morning baps etrememly good.

As always, Wells Touring Park never disappoints. All the team are so helpful. When our caravan skylight suddenly sprang a leak in the middle of a storm at 9pm in the evening, in the dark, Mark didn't hesitate to come to the rescue (with his ladder and heavy duty light) and help me find a solution. (Thanks again Mark!). We are back again next week and really looking forward to it. This location is now our regular base for short stays in Somerset and exploring all the beautiful countryside and at the same time being able to walk 20 minutes and be in the centre of the beautiful city of Wells.

Lovely clean friendly site. Level good site pitches. Lovely shower block. Lovely flat walk in wells .

We sadly only stayed for 2 nights on route home from Cornwall. Definitely must return to visit Wells and the cathedral. Lovely staff and facilities and beautiful views from our campervan.

Nice clean well kept site staff friendly and helpful. Bus stop outside for easy journey to Wells, Cheddar,WSM.
