Our family site offers a handful of pitches, all located close to our Brampton Valley Way access point.
Our family site offers a handful of pitches, all located close to our Brampton Valley Way access point and away from the deep waters. They have their own dedicated toilets and shower room, and are completely fully serviced. The pitch is hard standing, gravel topped to allow for awning pegs to pass through and each pitch is adequate enough to accomodate a large van, awning and vehicle on the hard pitch alone. At the end of the site, there is a turning circle and a chemical disposal point with refuse facilities and fresh water.

They are fully serviced with electric hook-up, water and drainage, with a grass fire gap between each pitch.
Our Wellington View site is located overlooking the wonderful countryside, and more immediately our Wellington Fishing Lake. Completed mid 2013, there are 24 equally spaced and sized pitches available for rental for the entire year. Set out in three rows of eight pitches, we have some set close to the toilets and shower blocks for our less abled guests, and some that are a bit more private away from the main entrance road.
Each pitch is hard standing, with gravel planings on the surface to allow for awning pegs, although this surface is a lot harder underneath to allow for a solid base, while the surface settles. They are fully serviced with electric hook-up, water and drainage, with a grass fire gap between each pitch. We recommend storm pegs and a hammer for your awning.

We have three pitches on this 2016 addition to the site, available for hire throughout the year. These pitches are fully serviced with electric hookup, water, and integrated drainage, and are nestled in close to our log cabins on Waterloo Lake. Boasting a fantastic vista, peace and tranquility await!
These pitches are designed with motorhomes in mind, and are slightly narrower than our standard Adult Only pitches elsewhere on site. However, if you did want to book this pitch for your caravan you can do this by contacting us directly. Fishing is not included in this pitch price as it is adjacent to our Waterloo Lake for pleasure anglers and match bookings, so remains subject to availability, as matches will take precedent.
Toilet and shower facilities are located nearby, as is the ELSAN point.

Lvly and quiet location in the Lodge and nr for Fishing. The grass ect needs attention on the edgeOf the lake.Overall a lvly weekend and comfortable accommodation.
Only thing that spoils it for me is the duck mess we were on peg 44 and it was not nice I know it’s nature I get that but one wooden stage was full of it and it gets in the motorhome so not very nice can’t fault anything else to be honest and we’ve.at least 3 more stays booked this year so far
We love coming to this site love the fishing, also visiting cousins who live local to site, we travel125 miles each year, but this last one with our caravan, husband coming up 80 and don’t have car now with tow bar.We visited a garden centre called Gates had 3 visits.Very good rounder. Also visited Roll Fair in Rothwell beginning of June. As my mum came from there, and she moved to Surrey when she married, always visited each year to see all the relations.
Very good, realaxing place to stay and the fishing was great.
All in all a very good stay.
We stayed here for 2 nights in a motorhome in the field up from the lake. Lovely and easy 30 minute walk into Market Harborough which is a great place to wander around. Back to the campsite - location is very peaceful being surrounded by countryside and of course the fishing lakes. We had our dogs with us and there was a large field beyond the lakes where we could run them - a rare thing on the campsites that we have experienced. The tearoom on the site was closed when we were staying (a Monday and a Tuesday) so cannot comment on that but when we checked in on Sunday afternoon it was very busy. So the toilet/ shower facilities we feel are very overdue an upgrade. They are in wooden chalets with 2 toilets and 2 showers each for men & women. The facilities were very clean but the showers were in the same room as the toilet and wash basin - very small shower cubicle and not much water pressure. Also there was no washing up facilities. These facilities do not reflect the £32.50 we paid pn.
Overall all great! The only 2 things missing is the waste/fresh water dumping spot for motohomes as not everyone have pipes to do it on the pitch. And the second is spot for cleaning the dishes, as often is just easier to do it in dedicated place instead of motorhome or caravan.Apart of that, the campsite is amazing and definitely we will come back 😀 peaceful camp with some fishing lakes if you like it. Great cafe and amazing people. And easy access by bike or walk (if you dont mind 50min walk) to the town. Thanks
We stayed on this site as a couple. I can honestly say we enjoyed every minute. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lady who was lovely, so friendly & helpful, she had a lovely chat & gave us time to ask any questions we had. We then pulled into the touring field, first impression was the toilet/shower block was a shed, which became a concern to me. We set up & I had to go & have a look at the amenities, what a shock that was. Shower, toilet wash basin all in your own personal space. They were spotless all weekend while we were there & we always had hot water for our showers. My partner enjoys fishing & spent all day Saturday around the lake .. he wasn’t disappointed catching many fish & having an enjoyable dayI can honestly say I would definitely return to this site & would recommend to others. Thank you for a great weekend, see you soon
Expensive for a very basic gravel park up and very uneven surface which is described as hard standing.Cycling area was good with an old railway track very close and easy to navigate.
Nice site. Superb food. Quiet. Nice fishing. Showers let it down
