Our family site offers a handful of pitches, all located close to our Brampton Valley Way access point.
Our family site offers a handful of pitches, all located close to our Brampton Valley Way access point and away from the deep waters. They have their own dedicated toilets and shower room, and are completely fully serviced. The pitch is hard standing, gravel topped to allow for awning pegs to pass through and each pitch is adequate enough to accomodate a large van, awning and vehicle on the hard pitch alone. At the end of the site, there is a turning circle and a chemical disposal point with refuse facilities and fresh water.

They are fully serviced with electric hook-up, water and drainage, with a grass fire gap between each pitch.
Our Wellington View site is located overlooking the wonderful countryside, and more immediately our Wellington Fishing Lake. Completed mid 2013, there are 24 equally spaced and sized pitches available for rental for the entire year. Set out in three rows of eight pitches, we have some set close to the toilets and shower blocks for our less abled guests, and some that are a bit more private away from the main entrance road.
Each pitch is hard standing, with gravel planings on the surface to allow for awning pegs, although this surface is a lot harder underneath to allow for a solid base, while the surface settles. They are fully serviced with electric hook-up, water and drainage, with a grass fire gap between each pitch. We recommend storm pegs and a hammer for your awning.

These pitches are fully serviced with electric hookup, water, and integrated drainage, and are nestled in close to our log cabins on Waterloo Lake. Boasting a fantastic vista, peace and tranquility await!
These pitches are designed with motorhomes in mind, and are slightly narrower than our standard Adult Only pitches elsewhere on site. However, if you did want to book this pitch for your caravan you can do this by contacting us directly. Fishing is not included in this pitch price as it is adjacent to our Waterloo Lake for pleasure anglers and match bookings, so remains subject to availability, as matches will take precedent.
Toilet and shower facilities are located nearby, as is the ELSAN point.

Lorna and all her staff fantastic. Food excellent. Good site if you want to give your dogs a good run off the lead. Will be going back again soon.
The setting is lovely and so we’re all the staff. Loved the fishing and a good variety of fish some I’d never caught before, but you need to get past the swarm of baby fish, may be a few perch would help there. Mind out for the geese as they are very vocal, but they wouldn’t put me of going again. Good big pitches and fishing area’s, great to open your door and fish straight away. Good breakfast what more can I say 👍
Absolutely perfect from start to finish! Owners are lovely. No negatives to be found!Bring good strong pegs!Could do with more showers and loose but not an issue!Dog loved the walks and husband had a very successful fishing session! Next trip booked for July, this will be the third time!
Great site with good fishing and a lovely cafe . Staff are so friendly and helpful . No faults at all
Staff really friendly, facilities were clean but needs modernising. Would have eaten in the cafeteria but we have a dog didn’t want to sit in a cold Marquee.
Staff and owners always friendly and helpful, well kept site, with fishing right next to caravan, tearoom and steak night excellent
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Barn Owl Lodge. We have stayed before at Waterloo when we used to own a caravan. The staff are always a delight and attentive. It ticks the boxes for us with fishing and plenty of dogs walks on the doorstep. It was the first time we had stayed in one of the lodges and found it clean, tidy and beautifully presented, with some lovely personal touches. There were only two minor points for constructive feedback. The labelling on the oven could be renewed as we couldn’t work out the dials. The other was that the mattress in the double room was quite hard and made for some uncomfortable sleeping, not enough to spoil our stay and we will return as it’s such a lovely place. Was also happy with the price. Thanks for having us.
Lovely site, a little sloped on pitch needing ramps. Good water and chemical disposal. Individual drain on pitch but need a drive over drain too for motorhomes that don't have tubes. Lovely mostly flat cycle to town, brewery and tunnel. Please keep improving and growing a lovely site for future.
Really nice campsite, we got a really warm welcome when we arrived, nothing was too much for them, very helpful. Good facilities and great fishing.
Stayed for 3 nights Welligton lake, found the people on reception & checking in process very pleasent. fishing was great, parking on the lake and bieng able to fish next to your set up is really good. the small cafe @ the entrance is very nice.Really nice flat walk along the griffin trail in to Market Harborough, very easy 30 minute at a steady pace. It says 55 minutes on google maps but its quicker than that.Showers clean & adequate, hot water plenty of room. I would say its a rustic site & we loved it.Definitely will be returning.Only one small negative, but im bieng picky, if you stay Wellington lakeside pich, there is a fair bit of goose droppings, but its a lake so its not really a suprise, take an old brush & brush it out of you way. It wasn't an issue for us, but some people might not like it.
