Nestled among the huts Walberswick Beach Campsite offers a unique opportunity to camp right next to the beach! Walberswick is a beautiful Suffolk coastal village with two pubs ,cafes, shops, a playground and countless gorgeous walks and cycle routes. You can walk along the river and into Southwold via the fishing huts and try some delicious Fish and Chips or Sea Food from the huts. Or if you want you can use the famous ‘ferry’ to row you to the other side.
There is a car park near by the campsite and this is £4 per day, £20 per week or £60 maximum. On receipt of payment you will be sent a booking confirmation with the code for the car park lock and directions of how to get to us.

What a little gem of a campsite. Camped with my 6 year old grandson. Crabbing beside the little bridge to the campsite, evening and early morning. Listened to the wind, rain and breaking waves; at one with nature. Swam in the sea and had tea and scones at local cafe.Toilet and wash basin in carpark very clean. Perfect for our one night camping on the beach!
We loved our time at the campsite with family, 2 tents and our beach hut. First year with our great grandson. Our only complaint is your booking system. So hard to book even wth 3 people trying. We only managed to book 4 days and 5 days respectively, then when we arrived there were empty spaces around us, even though we had been checking in the whole time to see if there were spaces.Hope you can improve your booking system next year. The main thing is we had a great time when we there. 4 generations who had all spent their childhood holidays on the campsite.
Had a great 3 night stay despite stormy weather. Welcome to the site and check in was friendly, everything was straightforward and easy. The setting is beautiful at night and in the day. There is a walk back to the car park for the portaloos which I did a few times in the night - thought I would be scared but was fine with a torch and was too distracted by the amazing view of the stars! Nice sense of camaraderie on the site but we were mostly out and about on walks or visiting local attractions.
Well organised campsite with clean portaloos. Peaceful to wake to the sound of the waves on the beach.
Such a lovely on-site atmosphere and a really unique stay. Popping in the sea before breakfast is amazing. Love it!
The most unique campsite I've ever stayed at. So close to the sea. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. No cars can get close so very peaceful. One tap, washing up is tricky but you improvise. Same with showers. Toilets are a short walk away. Back to basics in nature. Perfect.
Very easy campsite , well located and safe
Basic but magical. Will defo book again for next year!
Gorgeous few days as always, wish we could have stayed longer.
I absolutely love this campsite but wonder if anything could be done about the very stressful booking system!
