We went at the start of the season as we know it would be quiet. The site itself is well laid out with all facilities close at hand, the shower block was definitely one off, if not, the best with have used. If you were went in peak season this will most likely be a very lively site, with the onsite food stall and swimming pool being very attractive. For us, we enjoyed the quietness, in the local area were some great walks and cycle paths easily accessible from the quiet country lanes next to the site. Overall, we will be returning and would happily recommend this site to our fiends,

Very friendly reception, also over the phone. I had a late check in which whas no problem since I paid by creditcard over the phone and the barrier went up bu vehicle reg. nr. Amazing heated toilet and shower block, nice washing up area and even laundry machines and dryers. Had a nice level hardstanding pitch with electricity, perfect for a camper van. Baught some local meat and beers in the shop. Booked another night because I liked it so much there. Very close to Dartmoor and the wonderful Haytor rocks.

Lodge was brilliant, clean, everything included and amazing views. Everything you could wish for. Excellent value for money as it was a last minute booking. Easy to access Dartmoor and the coast.

Beautiful peaceful site in a great location near to the moors and beaches, we love it for cycling. The shower block is fabulous with underfloor heating. Booked again already

The owns are great

Initially on arrival we didn't feel overly welcomed. The barrier didn't open and the person greeting us intimidated we hadn't driven up to it correctly. We were told to go to reception and our pitch number would be on the door (reception closed). When we found the pitch it had another caravan on it, so I had to return to reception to call to check we were OK to pick another pitch nearby. Saying this, the person on the phone was really friendly and apologetic so all sorted easily. The facilities (showers etc) were immaculate; extremely clean, warm and inviting. The pitch was level so no fussing when setting up. Great views and we had a peaceful stay. I would therefore definitely recommend this site and plan to return again.

It was only a one night stay on our way back home, and we have stayed before,but as usual everything was perfect. Good value for your money,showers and toilets are excellent, clean and warm

Showers are always heated with underfloor heating the shower controls however need some attention as they tend to be quite difficult to control the temperature
