As we are local we made a very last minute booking for a return to 12 oaks. We only decided to come after lunch on the day that we camped. As a result we were not very organised! However, the staff were very helpful and when we had quite a lot of problems with our equipment were very patient helping us with some difficulties we had. We are a small set up and don't use much electricity and so we were glad that the inclusive price was reasonable and that big rigs that use much more power have a metered system. This seems very fair…The pitches were beautifully level considering the hill that we were on a lot of work has been gone into that by the proprietors. We absolutely love having the produce of the farm and brought some home to carry on the wonderful vibes of our short holiday.A great base to see Devon. Love it ...

First impressions on arrival were positive, we checked in and shown directions to our pitch. We had to sign up to an app and pay £16 extra for electricity we hadn’t used, which we’ve never had to do that before, it was a bit of a faff, but got it sorted in the end. It is supposed to be refunded if we didn’t use more than 10kw of electricity per day.There was a lovely field kitchen which served great food and reasonably priced. It was very dusty due to the gravel roads and the very dry weather. The toilets were ok, although the showers had fixed heads and so sprayed out into the drying area, our daughter had a cold shower on a couple of mornings, which wasn’t ideal. We’ve been to this area a few times before, so probably won’t be back again.

We had a brilliant week camping at Twelve Oaks Farm Campsite. I’d stayed here many times as a child, so returning with friends was an easy choice. We stayed for seven nights and had a lovely, relaxing break.The campsite is peaceful, well maintained, and perfectly located for exploring South Devon. The facilities are excellent, especially considering the price, with a warm swimming pool and electric hook-up included. The 10kWh daily allowance was more than enough for charging phones, running our cool box, and using a radio all week.The onsite shop is reasonably priced, and the farm burger van is a must - £6 for a delicious burger made from the farm’s own beef is fantastic value. Despite being fully booked, the campsite never felt crowded, and the showers were always clean with plenty of hot water. The friendly, family-run atmosphere really makes this place special. I’d highly recommend it to families and groups of friends, and I’ll definitely be returning. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The campsite is fantastic, we found it fairly last minute and booked without knowing too much about it. The site is large, has a well stocked shop, clean showers/toilet blocks and big washing up/laundry area. It also has a small pool and a play area on site as well as lots of space. The pitches were large. My only gripe about the site is that there isn't more than one toilet block, during the night I think an extra toilet down nearer the camping field would be advantageous but this would not stop us returning as it really didn't affect us! It's just something I would prefer. The swimming pool was an added bonus with how hot it was when we were there. Everywhere we wanted to visit was within a 25-30 minute drive from the site so it seemed very central location wise.The field kitchen on site is fabulous! We had the nachos and pizza aswell as kids meals and all the food was delicious, would definitely recommend eating here. The sausages we bought in the shop were the best I've ever ha

This was our second stay at twelve oaks our 1st was fantastic, unfortunately this time it was very different. Andrew (the owner) and his family spoke to us like we were the lowest of the low. Only the lady serving food with dark hair had any time to chat with us, our boys got marked as the motocross kids that got barred earlier in the week, which was nothing to got with us! ( we wasn’t even on the site that day) My son gave Andrew attitude but only after her was swore at and called a little Twat! I tried to get the boys to apologies he was a baby about it and said he does not want an apology just don’t come back.As a groups of 6 motorhomes/caravans we spent a small fortune on the site. Definitely don’t worry Andrew and family we will not be back.

Stayed here for 4 nights/ 5 days in our caravan with our grandchildren. Facilities are brilliant, swimming pool was lovely and the whole site was extremely clean and well kept. The ‘Gale’ family are lovely and will try to do everything they can to help. Nothing is too much trouble. We had a lovely time and would certainly look to return to this site in the future. Nice place reasonably tidy ,toilets were clean only thing id change is one of the reception staff wasn't very happy and seemed either fed up or pissed off. Apart from that it was ok.

Small friendly campsite. Helpful staff.Very well maintained. Lovely clean shower rooms and toilets. Lovely setting will definitely come again.

This was our 3rd visit and the last 3 years and our 2nd year staying in the Cherry Lodge. Fantastic as usual lovely and clean fab park and the fishing was great also. Will definitely be returning again. Thanks again Andrew & Claire
