Nice place reasonably tidy ,toilets were clean only thing id change is one of the reception staff wasn't very happy and seemed either fed up or pissed off. Apart from that it was ok.

Small friendly campsite. Helpful staff.Very well maintained. Lovely clean shower rooms and toilets. Lovely setting will definitely come again.

This was our 3rd visit and the last 3 years and our 2nd year staying in the Cherry Lodge. Fantastic as usual lovely and clean fab park and the fishing was great also. Will definitely be returning again. Thanks again Andrew & Claire

We stayed at Chestnut Lodge absolutely beautiful lodge very clean and everything you would need to enjoy a great family holiday. Friendly staff and lovely site and the fishing was great also. The pool was lovely and warm and very clean.Can’t wait to come back again.

We only stayed 2 nights as we had an urgent family visitSite was welcoming and had all the facilities we needed. Fully serviced pitch was good and we got in ok. Getting out was a bit tight but we managed it Road to and from is narrow but good visibility and passing places.Would recommend if you looking for a quiet site near Newton Abbot /Torquay

The M5 and A38 meant our late evening trip to the site was easy and uneventful. The Lodge was very nice, and very well appointed. Parking was easy - I like the controlled entrance to the site. The food truck was very welcome and provided much needed bacon baps after a slow get up. Prices were acceptable and quality ok. The site itself is well maintained and attractive with nice countryside views. The items provided in the Lodge were thoughtful and useful. Most staff were helpful and friendly, although one was a little err off.The weather you provided was fabulous, and our grandkids who were camping in their own tent had a very nice time. I'd be happy to come again. Dr T

Spotlessly clean facilities, brilliant swimming pool, and such good food on site. Couldn't fault this place at all, they know exactly what they're doing. When we're back in the area on holiday it would be stupid of us not to come back here.

The site is well maintained, facilities clean, and pitches level.There seems to have been a move since my last visit a couple of years' ago to "gadgetry" which isn't always to the benefit of the customer. Given that I was paying nearly £60 a night to then need to use an app to activate the pitch hook-up which would charge me for excessive usage seemed unnecessary (even though there is an initial allowance that I didn't exceed), and it may just have been the shower cubicle that I used, but the "touch sensitive" button was extremely intermittent (sometimes just wave near it, sometimes several seconds of firm contact, sometimes soapy hands not accepted) and the water temperature was quite dependent on other users - personally I would have preferred a simple mechanical push button, but investment in thermostatic valves, neither of which would require electrical power to work, unlike the temperamental touch button.Oh, and visitors will be charged, but not get anywhere to park!

Our annual week at Twelve Oaks did not disappoint. Sighting numerous hedgehogs rosming at night was a new delight and the shop’s steaks absolutely gorgeous. All the other guests seem to have the same idea about a good holiday, at 10.30 the site falls silent save for the owls.The road closures were not particularly inconveient and left the lanes wonderfully quiet for the ofd midnight stroll.Having Highfield Caravans just up the road is particularly handy when, for example the kettle packs up before I’ve had my caffeine fix.Clare and Andrew have created something special and as always we booked for next year on the way out.

Very friendly staff. Good facilities on site. Only issue was major roadworks all around the area on the A38. Road closer made things difficult to get to place and back to camp.
