We ran a small rally here and the staff were very helpful throughout the whole process, from booking to actual arrival of our guests. The Tudor arms , the adjacent pub , were also very cooperative …. the skittle alley was very popular. This is our 3rd rally here and we hope to return!
Location is great, clean site, quiet, right by a Public house and the Black Shed Cafe. Sited alongside the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal great for walks long or short in both directions, two toilet blocks kept clean and tidy
Couldn’t fault anything Enjoyed it all we will be back soon

Hi Simon.Thank you for such a lovely 5 star review. We're so pleased that we were able to help at such a difficult time and hope that life is beginning to find it's pattern for you again. You have posted a beautiful picture and wondered whether you would like to submit it for this year's photo competition? There is no limit on entries (so any others you have of your stay that you would like to enter would be fine) and winners receive a discounted stay and are published in the following year's brochure. If you would like to submit it, please just email it and any others to photos@tudorcaravanpark.co.uk and I will put it in the folder for judging.Warm regards.Nicky
Lovely site, clean showers, lovely welcome and lots to do in area. Can't wait to go again.
Fantastic site, well maintained and clean, lovely walks down the canal
We love Tudor Caravan Park it's location and surrounding area but there is nothing on site. It's just pitches and without pitch facilities like water or drainage etc.Sites location is great near the canal and plenty of walks but it needs to provide better facilities to encourage users to come and stay all year round.Provide a better shop.Give the kids a area to play in like a park but if the site isn't willing then you might as well go adult only site wide.Great location but that's it.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review after your long seasonal stay with us. Interesting view point, but I am sure, as you have spent so long with us on site, you will understand that we don't want to have a play area where arguments, accidents and constant noise disrupts the site and not all families need play equipment to occupy their children. I am sure you have seen plenty of children enjoying cycling, free play and all manner of games in our fields as have we and that is something we pride ourselves on. Becoming an adult only site would immediately exclude these families which hardly seems fair.As with the shop, we cannot have out of date stock in the shop, so we provide essentials only - it has proved very popular with our customers and is run purely to help customers on their stay - not as a local co-op!We do advertise ourselves as a quiet site, the perfect place to get away in the perfect location - there are definitely advantages to what you suggested for other sites but we prefer to remain a peaceful retreat for all.We wish you well.
Situated in a lovely quaint village, we had a welcoming reception by the lady manning the office and a pleasant overnight stay with electric hook up and excellent toilet / washroom facilities at Tudor caravan and motorhome park.If the Shop had been better stocked, we would have bought provisions from there, but we got by using the local café who were kind enough to supply us with some last-minute provisions that we had forgotten. We enjoyed a simple meal in the evening, at The Tudor Pub (which is at the entrance to the site) and a pleasant breakfast for the following morning.Lots of history and things to see at Slim Bridge and is it not for the fact that we had to be somewhere else the following day, we would’ve enjoyed exploring the village and taking Walks down the canal towpath. No doubt this is a very popular site in the summer so I would advise that you book in advance to avoid disappointment.Well done Tudor 👍🏼Thanks for having us.
Thank you for your review and feedback, we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your night with us. I'm sorry our little shop didn't have the products you needed, we are trying to hit the very fine balance of providing the right produce but not having stock go out of date and with that in mind, this time of year we mainly stock our local butcher's sausages, bacon and burgers (which we keep in the freezer), milk from our local milk man and free range eggs - also locally sourced. Other than that and ice-creams, we have things that people have asked us for over the last few months such as tea/coffee etc.We are always keen for feedback and suggestions on what else should be stocked so we appreciate your comments and hope that you choose to visit us again sometime.Kind regards.
Convenient site, we visit for one purpose only - to visit the WWT reserve at Slimbridge.
