Easy to find and beautifully looked after. Was full but still really peaceful and it didnt feel like as manynpitches as possible had been crammed in. The owner was really friendly and helpful. No toilets or showers but the website is very clear about that, and there is waste disposal on site so perfect if youre self-contained. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Booking a pitch was very easy and arrival instructions were simple and clear. The pitches are huge. No showers or toilets but not a problem for us. The site gives easy access to the reservoir and wild life centre. Jason the owner visited us. Very friendly but not intrusive. We biked around the reservoir, about 17 miles. Great ride. Oakham a short dive away has plenty of shops and restaurants. We only stopped for two nights but wished it was longer. Definitely worth a visit.

We stayed 2 nights in order to play in a golf competition at the nearby course. Pitches were large and well spread out. We were welcomed by the owner, and can recommend The Fox public house which they run.We will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

If only all sites could be like this. We come here each year and recommend it

Nice and peaceful and a well managed gounds

A lovely site, well located adjacent to the Rutland cycle path. Relatively flat pitches, so me views of the water, very peaceful place to stay.

Fantastic clean site with 18 gravel hard standing pitches. EHU available. A very friendly welcome with local information all on site. Water, grey and foul waste outlets available on site along with recycling bins. Site is relatively level with reasonably level pitches. Easy access to Rutland water and on the Rutland Water circular cycling/walking path. I would definitely return.

Lovely site, beautifully kept by a very friendly guy who's passionate about the site and the comfort of his guests. Great location in the heart of a beautiful county with the magic of Rutland Water with it's walking, cycling, fishing and bird watching only a short walk away.Pitch prices are very competitive compared with others in not so desirable locations.Plenty of places to eat in the area, but The Fox a couple of miles away can't be beaten on price and excellent quality of the food in a relaxing setting.Can't wait to return.
