We have been away from the site for 3 years, upon returning things have changed. It wasn't bad before but it's absolutely top notch now we have made bookings throughout the year and left the van in storage there. Great staff can't do enough.

The Lodge has everything you need.The bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed and children will love the bunk beds.Resident wildlife bring interest including a bluetit tapping at the window of the main bedroom as if to act as your morning alarm .In all a wonderful place to stay for a few days .

St Helens is a beautifully kept caravan site, the facilities were immaculate. hitch and brew very nice, good value and staff lovely.All the staff we met were very friendly and so helpful.We had a problem with our caravan, and the staff went out of their way to try and help.The site is also in a good spot to get to other places, helmsley lovely, and goathland very quaint and worth a visit.

Very good facilities

Great very well kept & friendly site, fantastic toilet blocks, dog walk area, cafe on site with great pizza night (catering for gluten free too!). Great location with dog walking area nearby and local cafe in the village too. WiFi is available however our main feedback would be for more/stronger WiFi boosters as it kept dropping out at our pitch but didn’t impact the overall 5 star rating! Will definitely be back again.

We had a lovely stay at st helens we had booked 3 nights and ended up staying over for six nights in total. The park is perfect for us with level pitch and shop open with plentiful stock. We enjoyed the food on offer in the cafe which is not expensive and fresh. The staff cannot do enough to help, and always had a refreshing smile. A big thank you to all for a great break.

Site has made big improvements to facilities over last couple of years. The on-site cafe is excellent!

Excellent Caravan Site with Friendly / Helpful Staff

We visited St Helens in the park during a very cold week in February. The park is beautiful and all the facilities are excellent, the toilets are immaculate any time of the day. My only negative point is the cost of paying extra for electric! We had already paid a high amount for a weeks stay at this site, well over £300! But this did not include any electric! I put £50 on the card when we arrived and at the end of the week we only had £5 left! We had to run our water and heating on gas, at times, to try to save some of the electric money!! I don’t use this amount of gas and electric in a week at home! This unfortunately would stop us returning particularly during the winter time!

We stayed for 8 nights over new year and the site was a great base to visit Scarborough and along the coast. We only got to pop into the Hitch & Brew once but it was really nice with lovely coffees, cakes and hot sandwiches. The toilet/shower facilities where about the best we've used, really clean with underfloor heating, good ventilation for showers and large cubicles with plenty of bench space & hooks for clothes, towels etc. It snowed while we were there and we have difficulty towing our van offsite but the staff jumped in to help us get going and ending up towing us beyond the barrier with their own car which was really appreciated. Top site, highly recommended and we've already booked for the same time next year! :)
