South Wales Touring Park is nestled in the picturesque town of Llangennech near Llanelli, and stands as an exquisite adults-only touring park. Strategically located just a mile from junction 48 of the M4, this family-run gem serves as an ideal hub for exploring the wonders of South and West Wales.
Catering to both motorhomes and caravans, the park boasts 25 hard-standing pitches, each offering captivating views. Ensuring a comfortable stay, the facilities include heated shower rooms, toilets, dishwashing areas, and laundry facilities. For those seeking convenience, there are ten fully serviced pitches available. The park's membership in Tranquil Parks and Premier Parks underscores its commitment to providing a serene and top-notch experience.
While there is no on-site shop, the park compensates by arranging regular fresh deliveries. A weekly visit from the fishmonger and a Saturday morning appearance of a fruit and vegetable mobile shop add to the charm. Alternatively, the nearby Llangennech village, a mere 0.8 miles away, provides additional options for provisions.
Beyond the park's borders, adventure beckons. Carmarthenshire, recognised as a hiking hot-spot, offers some of the finest walking terrains. Visitors can explore the breathtaking landscapes ranging from Cardiff and the valleys to Pembrokeshire, the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and the Gower Peninsula.
For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.
Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.
In essence, South Wales Touring Park/Llwynifan Farm stands as a haven for adult travellers seeking tranquillity, excellent amenities, and easy access to the diverse attractions of South and West Wales.

Friendly well run site with excellent facilities and with a great view.Dog recreation area is a real bonus, treats and bags as well.A T V aerial direction pointer on the info would be helpful.
Immaculate site with the biggest pitches i have seen, stayed on a serviced pitch and everything was just right and spotlessly clean
Found this site via the Tranquil Parks booklet and we found it superb in every way. From the initial and regular very informative emails to the attention to detail everywhere around the site. Lots of informative, helpful notices and instructions. Generous electric allowance that is easy to add to if required via a screen in the kiosk. Freshly laundered hand towels for use in the toilets. Where else have you found a dog exercise field with agility equipment and mowed by a robot! Hywel and Cathrin are to be congratulated for the site they have created and maintain.
We enjoyed our stay, and we hope to stay in the near future. Thanks very much.
5* site, 5* facilities, 5* owners . We had an amazing time from the day we arrived until the day we left, Hywel couldn't have been more helpful, welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
Loved it, large pitches, unobstructed view, quiet, extremely well maintained and clean. Serviced pitch was brilliant. Everything we look for in a camp site.
We arrived at Llwynifan Farm to temperatures of 30C +!! A most beautiful site, immaculate everywhere inc the toilets (Myddfai soap & hand cream and individual hand drying towels) and shower block. Excellent communication from hosts before our arrival made the site easy to find from J48 of M4. Hywel was also there to welcome us. Very peaceful site & an ideal getaway. We explored the Gower Peninsula- a short drive away, but didn't do as much as planned due to the hot weather. But we hope to return when it's slightly cooler!Highly recommended! diolch yn fawr
We really enjoyed our stay at Llwynifan Farm. It's a well cared for site and Hywel was so friendly. He even took the time to find some spare pipe for us. The toilet block is kept very clean. Our dog loved the dog field. we enjoyed exploring the local area. Lots of leaflets in the information booth. The local walks by the river were great as well. I really recommend visiting.
A great quiet elevated location with good sized pitches. The site is always kept tidy and grass manicured. The hosts are very welcoming, organised and never too far out of reach to assist with enquiries.
A very nice, quiet, small site - but still with very good facilities. Owners very friendly & helpful, with nice touches like the Welcome Pack.Fully serviced pitch size excellent.Toilets & Showers small, but very clean - again with nice touches like fresh flowers & lovely hand soap.Surrounding area is very good (need to drive places). National Botanical Gardens close & excellent. We did 2 Bike Rides .. Llanelli to Burry Port along Millennium Cycle path, and Swansea to Mumbles along easy coastal cycle path. The beautiful Gower peninsula is a 30-45 min drive away.
