Excellent views, clean facilities

We had a lovely time, the only tent in our field! Shower/utility block was super clean and warm. Host was friendly and welcoming, with good advice for local pubs/activities. Would 100% return.

Great Park, shame about the website

Graeson, Jack - 30/09/2021

I really enjoyed my stay at Greenways. We arrived late and keys were left for us no problem. The campsite is very pretty and clean. Unfortunately the website is very difficult to navigate, and when I finally found the FAQs, the tone was so rude. "We will not answer queries already covered on our website!" - guys, your website is a bloody nightmare to find anything. And you might want to give more thought to first impressions. :)

Great site for a family trip

Hazell, Edmund - 23/09/2021

Big site in a good location on the Gower peninsula, close to the big beach at Oxwich Bay (but NB it's a bit of a walk down a single track road to get there - and a £6 parking fee near the beach if you drive!).The site has a decent children's play area and a big modern loo block with plenty of free showers. We visited one weekend in termtime, so can't comment on how busy it gets in the summer holidays, but from the size of the field it seems likely the washing up facilities at least would get very busy.

Booking September 2021

Tapponnier, Katherine - 21/09/2021

The process of booking over the phone was 'painful'. The member of staff I booked with seemed inexperienced and gave me incorrect check out information. During the call she kept 'disappearing' to deal with customers coming into the office. It felt like hard work to book. We booked the site purely because of its proximity to the Beach House. When I asked prior to booking about the possibility of walking to the restaurant I was not told about the steep hill back up to the site. Thankfully we are fit and well and managed the hill late at night after dinner with relative ease. For anyone who has difficulty walking this hill would prove difficult I imagine. It would have been nice to have been forewarned about it. Generally we were satisfied with the site. That said, there was no-one available in the office to check us in when we arrived and a notice on the door giving details of where to find barrier card etc was from the previous evening and so I spent time searching for a card that was not where the notice said it was. When the member of staff did arrive to check us in the system to do so was slow and it looked for a while like it wasn't going to let her do the check in.

Other campers

Hilton, Sally - 16/09/2021

The campsite facilities and cleanliness were excellent. We only have one complaint and that is the noise made by two other camping groups. One group opposite the playground and one in the bottom corner of the top field . These groups had no consideration for the other campers . The ones opposite the playground playing constant load music. We were disappointed that the park owners did not appear to monitor this. Unfortunately, the camping group did not appear the sort of people who we could approach ourselves to request more consideration.

A welcome return

Williams, Phillips - 10/09/2021

My brother and I used to stay here as boys. We were worried that the campsite would have changed beyond recognition since then but this wasn't the case. The facilities were more modern of course but the atmosphere was very much as we remembered it.The site is well maintained and has a friendly rather than a 'corporate' feel. There is a security presence which is reassuring but very 'light touch' and not at all intrusive. It is an excellent family site in an ideal location with lovely views of the coast and hills.

Clean and tidy

Pontin, Christopher - 09/09/2021

Spent 2 nights at the beginning of sept. Had a lovely stay park was a little quite I’m guessing as it was the weekend before schools returned. This was our first time camping and the park delivered a good experience for us. The only negatives I will mention could be down to the lateness of the season. Reception was shut on arrival but a lady did come from another office to let us in. Also the on site bar was shut during our stay. Although the washrooms are clean and in good working order could do with a modern uplift. Only mentioning this because of price and a premium statement. But overall a lovely place to stay and would recommend.
