South Wales Touring Park is nestled in the picturesque town of Llangennech near Llanelli, and stands as an exquisite adults-only touring park. Strategically located just a mile from junction 48 of the M4, this family-run gem serves as an ideal hub for exploring the wonders of South and West Wales.
Catering to both motorhomes and caravans, the park boasts 25 hard-standing pitches, each offering captivating views. Ensuring a comfortable stay, the facilities include heated shower rooms, toilets, dishwashing areas, and laundry facilities. For those seeking convenience, there are ten fully serviced pitches available. The park's membership in Tranquil Parks and Premier Parks underscores its commitment to providing a serene and top-notch experience.
While there is no on-site shop, the park compensates by arranging regular fresh deliveries. A weekly visit from the fishmonger and a Saturday morning appearance of a fruit and vegetable mobile shop add to the charm. Alternatively, the nearby Llangennech village, a mere 0.8 miles away, provides additional options for provisions.
Beyond the park's borders, adventure beckons. Carmarthenshire, recognised as a hiking hot-spot, offers some of the finest walking terrains. Visitors can explore the breathtaking landscapes ranging from Cardiff and the valleys to Pembrokeshire, the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and the Gower Peninsula.
For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.
Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.
In essence, South Wales Touring Park/Llwynifan Farm stands as a haven for adult travellers seeking tranquillity, excellent amenities, and easy access to the diverse attractions of South and West Wales.

A lovely site with amazing views
Arrived Christmas Eve and stayed for a few days. Made very welcome by Catherin & Hywel.Very larger pitches and beautiful views across the valley. Dogs loved the dog exercise field. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.Again Catherin & Hywel, thank you.
The camp site was very easy to find easily accessible off of main road links. On entering the campsite I found it to be very well laid out clean snd tidy and camping areas were very spacious. There were great views being an elevated site. The facilities were very clean spotless and spacious it was cared for with nice additional detains a simple but lovely Christmas wreath decoration, lovely hand soap and flannels for drying hands, well lit and warm and cosy, it was very homely.Camping price was good and of great value I only stayed one night as I wanted to be located near by for my next day outing. I had a comfortable peaceful night and felt safe as a lone traveler. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, I would have no hesitation in recommending this site it's close to main road links, shopping, touring and the hospital.

Only stayed two nights so didn’t venture off site except to walk in the woods. Perfect walking with the dogs.
Just returned from our 3rd visit this year, which says it all really. Same great hospitality and super clean facilities. Noticed new shower heads and a shelf in the showers, thank you. The owners are always making small improvements and their efforts to please are much appreciated. Didn’t have a dog with us on this visit, but they are very welcome & well catered for with enclosed dog field & dog wash area. Our Son’s dog is looking forward to returning next year lol. In summary, this is a small, very friendly, adult only site with great views and fantastic owners/facilities.
