South Wales Touring Park is nestled in the picturesque town of Llangennech near Llanelli, and stands as an exquisite adults-only touring park. Strategically located just a mile from junction 48 of the M4, this family-run gem serves as an ideal hub for exploring the wonders of South and West Wales.
Catering to both motorhomes and caravans, the park boasts 25 hard-standing pitches, each offering captivating views. Ensuring a comfortable stay, the facilities include heated shower rooms, toilets, dishwashing areas, and laundry facilities. For those seeking convenience, there are ten fully serviced pitches available. The park's membership in Tranquil Parks and Premier Parks underscores its commitment to providing a serene and top-notch experience.
While there is no on-site shop, the park compensates by arranging regular fresh deliveries. A weekly visit from the fishmonger and a Saturday morning appearance of a fruit and vegetable mobile shop add to the charm. Alternatively, the nearby Llangennech village, a mere 0.8 miles away, provides additional options for provisions.
Beyond the park's borders, adventure beckons. Carmarthenshire, recognised as a hiking hot-spot, offers some of the finest walking terrains. Visitors can explore the breathtaking landscapes ranging from Cardiff and the valleys to Pembrokeshire, the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and the Gower Peninsula.
For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.
Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.
In essence, South Wales Touring Park/Llwynifan Farm stands as a haven for adult travellers seeking tranquillity, excellent amenities, and easy access to the diverse attractions of South and West Wales.

We had a great time only there for four night but this was our third visit. Everything is so clean and tidy the hosts are so helpful.location is very good for lots of things we still haven’t done it all yet.
Faultlessly clean and well cared for site. The customers come first. Brilliant.
When visiting family in Wales, we always stay here. the facilities are immaculate, beautiful setting and peaceful despite being so close to a main road. Close to near by beach and lots of attractions. The facilities for dogs just keeping better, from when we first stayed here you had a secure field, now they have added agility equipment. Our Dog loves it.Hywel and Cathrin could not be more welcoming and helpful if they tried. We look forward to going back again
The site is easily accessible and easy to find and Morrison's is only 15 minutes away if you need anything. The facilities and amenities were all to a high standard and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The views from the serviced pitches are nice and the pitches themselves are well spaced out.The dog area was very good and if our dog was younger she would have probably given the agility course a go!We will be back next year, hopefully.
Our visit from Scotland to Wales exceeded our expectations. Approached the site up a narrow lane where we were welcomed by the owner. Showed us the way to our pitch the handover very courteous and thorough. The pitch was level and large enough to accommodate a car awning, picnic table sited to admire the stunning views. The overall ground maintenance was exceptionally kept the best we have ever seen. A security post to the park was easy to operate we felt reassured that our caravan was secure. The facilities were spotlessly clean containing a shower block with laundry facilities. The toilets separate block excellent planning. The recycling waste area I have to commend it was the cleanest neatly displayed area I have witnessed. We dined out having a local takeaway from the fish shop. There is a local inn the decor is nice the carvery wasn't good. A visit to mumbles is a must holds some quaint shops Mermaid restaurant food was great. Friendly Service Exceptional Site Highly recommended.
Easy location to find off the M4. Great communication from the owners from beginning to end. Nice secure dog area with agility props. Well laid out small site on 3 levels with good views over the countryside.
We stayed at South Wales caravan park for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Hywel who showed us to our pitch and explained how everything worked. We were on pitch 12 which had a lovely view of the countryside to the front and field behind, the whole site was very peaceful considering the location is very well connected to main roads, conveniences and the nearby M4. Pitches were a generous size and also had a table and bench. The facilities and whole site were emaculate, toilets and shower room heated and nice and cosy, lovely hand wash and small hand towels for hand drying were a nice touch. Both Hywel and Cathrin were very friendly and approachable, they are great hosts and should be very proud of their park.
Site was very clean and tidy, pitches well maintained and always manicured before arrival. Hosts Hewel and Kathryn always very welcoming .Amenities are really very good. Pleased with the dog field which had dog training facilities. Will be back again.
Lovely little adult only touring park with a personal touch, site is well maintained & facilities kept to high standard of cleanliness. We stayed there as it is very close to the M4 & has a good network to surrounding areas. There is a retail park within 10 mins drive that can accommodate all your needs.
