For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.

Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.

Impressions

Hill, Barry - 04/09/2025

Well signed from major routes into site. Pre arrival email absolutely perfect.Large pitch with superb views both back and front from the top terrace. Really good facility block with huge shower cubicles. Super clean everywhere and the owners are perfect hosts. The entry is very steep and they have had the Road scored so that there is no problem accessing the site. With the site being just a couple of miles from the motorway it is perfectly placed to visit Tenby St David’s Carmarthen and all of west Wales. Also Swansea and Cardiff. The Bridge Pub 2 miles away has the best value and good quality food anywhere in the region. A perfect place to explore West Wales from.

As a solo traveller in my caravan it was was much appreciated to get a slight discount per night and not have to pay extra for my 2 dogs which is really unusual. Site facilities were spotlessly clean. Hosts were very warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend this site and will return.
