South Wales Touring Park is nestled in the picturesque town of Llangennech near Llanelli, and stands as an exquisite adults-only touring park. Strategically located just a mile from junction 48 of the M4, this family-run gem serves as an ideal hub for exploring the wonders of South and West Wales.
Catering to both motorhomes and caravans, the park boasts 25 hard-standing pitches, each offering captivating views. Ensuring a comfortable stay, the facilities include heated shower rooms, toilets, dishwashing areas, and laundry facilities. For those seeking convenience, there are ten fully serviced pitches available. The park's membership in Tranquil Parks and Premier Parks underscores its commitment to providing a serene and top-notch experience.
While there is no on-site shop, the park compensates by arranging regular fresh deliveries. A weekly visit from the fishmonger and a Saturday morning appearance of a fruit and vegetable mobile shop add to the charm. Alternatively, the nearby Llangennech village, a mere 0.8 miles away, provides additional options for provisions.
Beyond the park's borders, adventure beckons. Carmarthenshire, recognised as a hiking hot-spot, offers some of the finest walking terrains. Visitors can explore the breathtaking landscapes ranging from Cardiff and the valleys to Pembrokeshire, the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and the Gower Peninsula.
For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.
Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.
In essence, South Wales Touring Park/Llwynifan Farm stands as a haven for adult travellers seeking tranquillity, excellent amenities, and easy access to the diverse attractions of South and West Wales.

Very nice site, well situated for visiting, the owners very helpful and pleasant, also they keep you informed in good time.
We have recently returned home from an amazing week at Fferm Llwynifan Farm. Site was beautifully peaceful, clean and tidy. The hand towels in the toilets were a lovely alternative to paper towels or hand air driers.Hywel and Cathrin were very attentive hosts, with regular communication prior to arrival and the day before departure. We were so impressed we have booked for 2026.
Spotless facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Great location for the gower, mumbles, and shopping nearby
Prior to arrival combinations with the site had been excellent, more over responded to our information we provided, this meant our arrival was perfectly timed meaning we where shown directly to our pitch.Hywel provided a pack of information along with gate toggle and electric charge card.Set up was easy, pitch was perfectly level so we were set up very quickly. The doggie walking are is great and fully safe to allow your pooches to have a great run around.Locally we used the local shops and hostilities manly the Bridge. (Excellent food and beers)All in all a great lil find of a privately owned 5* site, with very helpful owners and immaculate services.
A very clean site. Hywel could not be more helpful
We have just returned from, 8 nights at SWTP, Llwynifan Farm, we were greeted by Hywel on arrival and given a great welcome pack including treats for our Kenny dog. Hywel & Cathrin were fantastic hosts from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, always up for a chat and ever helpful when called upon. The site is absolutely immaculately kept and the facilities are second to none on cleanliness, my only question is what time of day do they clean them , they never have a chance to be dirty and yet never closed for cleaning, this is an absolute credit to both. The dog exercise field now has a small agility course for all the energetic pups that were on site( not necessarily our 14 year old), we worked out there were 10 dogs on our row and apart from the odd excited bark as someone to say hello to, we didn't recall any "yappy" dogs etc.We loved the site and although the weather wasn't the best we really enjoyed our time here and will be returning as well as recommending to frie
There is nothing about this site that you could fault. Amazing pitches, all with stunning views and fantastic facilities which are kept spotlessly clean. The site is central to many tourist places and there are supermarkets and other shops very close by. There is a cabin with lots of information about local attractions. The grounds are immaculately looked after with shrubs & flowers. There is also a huge recycling area and they have gone to a lot of trouble to make the site as ‘green’ as possible. However, the best part of this site are the owners, Hywel & Cathrin. We had the warmest of welcomes and they were so helpful and friendly. Just two of the nicest people to share their ‘home’ with. Thank you to you both.
This is our favourite site. Excellent, but don’t tell anybody!!
Peaceful, tranquil, and exceptionally well kept. Facilities are spotlessly clean and well organised. Hywel and Catherin are friendly and work hard to make sure everything runs smoothly, nothing is too much trouble. We absolutely love it there and will be back.
The facilities were so clean and checked regularly unlike some site where the clean once a day. The views from the pitches were amazing you could see for miles. The site is situated close to local shops. We took our 6 month old puppy and he received a free pack of dog treats. We had a wonderful time and have already booked to go back.
