South Wales Touring Park is nestled in the picturesque town of Llangennech near Llanelli, and stands as an exquisite adults-only touring park. Strategically located just a mile from junction 48 of the M4, this family-run gem serves as an ideal hub for exploring the wonders of South and West Wales.
Catering to both motorhomes and caravans, the park boasts 25 hard-standing pitches, each offering captivating views. Ensuring a comfortable stay, the facilities include heated shower rooms, toilets, dishwashing areas, and laundry facilities. For those seeking convenience, there are ten fully serviced pitches available. The park's membership in Tranquil Parks and Premier Parks underscores its commitment to providing a serene and top-notch experience.
While there is no on-site shop, the park compensates by arranging regular fresh deliveries. A weekly visit from the fishmonger and a Saturday morning appearance of a fruit and vegetable mobile shop add to the charm. Alternatively, the nearby Llangennech village, a mere 0.8 miles away, provides additional options for provisions.
Beyond the park's borders, adventure beckons. Carmarthenshire, recognised as a hiking hot-spot, offers some of the finest walking terrains. Visitors can explore the breathtaking landscapes ranging from Cardiff and the valleys to Pembrokeshire, the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and the Gower Peninsula.
For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.
Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.
In essence, South Wales Touring Park/Llwynifan Farm stands as a haven for adult travellers seeking tranquillity, excellent amenities, and easy access to the diverse attractions of South and West Wales.

Very nice site. Very welcoming. Very quiet. Felt safe. I wish the hookup was 16 ampere.
Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.We also wish we could install 16amp, however the cost of installing the upgraded power supply to the park is if we spend a fortune on getting 3 phase power to the park. :( So for now its 10amp.See you again soonBest wishesHywel and Cathrin
Please review my entry on The Trip Advisor Platform. This covers a far wider public domain and I've given the park and surrounding area an excellent right up.I thourghly enjoyed my stay, has did my four dogs and can say I was very lucky weather wise also which is always a added bonus.Lovely site with superb facilities and service, I've never been on such a well mainted site before and the toilet proper cotton hand towels for drying your hands is more in keeping with 4 or 5 star hotels.I very much enjoyed my daily walks through both the wooded area and down to Llangennech village, kept the blood pumping but also tired my dogs out, whichMakes it easier for me.Many thanks for letting me and my pets stay. All the best Andy Robins
Very conveniently sited from the M4 motorway and we'll signed from the main road. The location is ideal for travel to Llanelli, Swansea and Carmarthen and beyond.Hwyl and Catherine are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The whole site I'd beautifully kept and the toilets and showers are the cleanest l've experienced at any campsite to date.I consider it good value for money and a well kept site. There are lots of local attractions in the area, such as the lovely Gower Coast near Swansea, Llanelli beach and Pendine Country Park. Also further afield is Saundersfoot and Tenby, quaint sea side village and town.
The directions to the site are easy to follow. Hywel and Caitlin are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble and the facilities are second to none. Have booked again for next year.
We stayed for 5 nights. Hywel and Katherin were superb hosts . Everything on arrival was spot on. Lovely dog park for our 2 labs. The site and facilities are absolutely spotless. Look out for the groceries van on a Friday morning. Could not believe the stock held when they opened the side door. All in all a perfect holiday and location.
A great little site situated in beautiful countryside offering panoramic views as far as the eyes can see. Hywel offered a warm welcome on arrival and provided us with information regarding local walks from the site along the river. The pitches are very spacious and maintained to a very high standard.
Been motorhome owners for many years and this is definitely one of the best if not the best site we have stayed on,just done 7 nights ,facilities absolutely spotless, large fully serviced level pitch, quite very, well managed they have thought of everything ,will be back again this year and years to come,1/2 the price of some sites we have stayed and central .
We visit often, love the site, the owners are very helpful and pleasant. Site is convenient for visiting lots of places.
Stayed at South Wales Caravan site recently for three nights.Great find and a place I felt really safe as a Solo camper too.Owners were informative, friendly and a great help.Visited local attractions nearby and filled my days without travelling far.
