Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.

Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.

Friendly run, clean and efficient

Sibley - 09/04/2024

We had a last minute booking here as our original site was waterlogged and what a find...this is a jewel of a site. Clean; friendly spacious hardstanding pitches....just perfect. Apart from an efficient arrival with welcome packs about site and local area there are text alerts on leaving procedures and other relevant uodates as well as DVD and books to borrow. The local village pub (The Bridge) was a great recommendation and easy walk for dinner. Would love to come back again...ideally when it's not raining but appreciate that's not controllable!

We found this place on a Google search and so glad we chose this one and very lucky they had space for us the park is very quiet and you have some great views, we went for a shower in the morning which are spacious and very clean but the great thing about the showers was the underfloor heating which is also in the toilets which were spotless too we totally enjoyed this sight as it was so peaceful and the owners are so nice and very helpful, if we are back in the area again this place is number one on our list, there is also a very nice pub " the bridge " with nice food on the menu and a carvery to, and a large selection of drinks, it's a lovely pub and very friendly

Fab visit!

Watkins, Paul - 07/04/2024

Firstly the communication received from Hywel and Cathrin was superb. Excellent instructions on how to get to the site along with all the watch outs to make your arrival stress free. The way they manage your arrival including a message to let you know your pitch was ready and you could arrive early removed all the queuing to get in - brilliant. The site is small but due to the views and spacing between pitches it felt huge. The facilities were perfect - kept spotless with lovely touches like the local high quality hand soap was appreciated. The site is very well kept and despite the huge amount of rain it had been subjected too - the grass areas were perfect - no one had churned them up! they were boggy to walk on, but everyone respected the fact that driving on the grass would ruin it. We booked one of the fully serviced pitches and it was fab - so big. In warmer weather I could happily sit on the picnic table provided and stare out at the views, enjoying a glass or two. 10/10 rating.

It doesn’t get much better than this!!!

This was our second stay here and it didn’t disappoint. The owners Hywel and Cathrin are very proud of their site and rightly so as it one of the cleanest, well maintained parks we’ve ever seen. After being met at the barrier we were shown to our generously sized hard standing service pitch and handed our welcome pack with information on the site and surrounding area. Onsite facilities are great, shower and toilet blocks are always open, well maintained and more importantly warm (we stayed in late March). We did a lot of walking with our dogs during our stay and the provision of a Boot wash at the entrance and a dog wash/shower area were most welcome. Attention to detail is always good to see, no area is overlooked even the bin area has its own sink to wash your recycling and a table in the middle to sort your waste products before placing them in the appropriate bin. In conclusion this site is an absolute gem and well worth a visit if you want top quality facilities and peace and quie

Overall impressions

Toghill, Edward - 23/03/2024

The camp site is one of the best we have visited. It is in an excellent location only 2 miles from the M4 and with many places to visit in easy distance. The site is exceptionally well maintained, the shower block is cleaned numerous times a day and has many little extras like hand towels in the toilet area and underfloor heating in the showers. The recycling area is the cleanest most organised one I have seen at any camp. The is never any smell of rubbish and the bins are kept spotless. It is such a friendly site with Hywel always available from meeting you on your arrival to saying goodbye when you leave. We will return again and without doubt recommend the site
