South Wales Touring Park is nestled in the picturesque town of Llangennech near Llanelli, and stands as an exquisite adults-only touring park. Strategically located just a mile from junction 48 of the M4, this family-run gem serves as an ideal hub for exploring the wonders of South and West Wales.
Catering to both motorhomes and caravans, the park boasts 25 hard-standing pitches, each offering captivating views. Ensuring a comfortable stay, the facilities include heated shower rooms, toilets, dishwashing areas, and laundry facilities. For those seeking convenience, there are ten fully serviced pitches available. The park's membership in Tranquil Parks and Premier Parks underscores its commitment to providing a serene and top-notch experience.
While there is no on-site shop, the park compensates by arranging regular fresh deliveries. A weekly visit from the fishmonger and a Saturday morning appearance of a fruit and vegetable mobile shop add to the charm. Alternatively, the nearby Llangennech village, a mere 0.8 miles away, provides additional options for provisions.
Beyond the park's borders, adventure beckons. Carmarthenshire, recognised as a hiking hot-spot, offers some of the finest walking terrains. Visitors can explore the breathtaking landscapes ranging from Cardiff and the valleys to Pembrokeshire, the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and the Gower Peninsula.
For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.
Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.
In essence, South Wales Touring Park/Llwynifan Farm stands as a haven for adult travellers seeking tranquillity, excellent amenities, and easy access to the diverse attractions of South and West Wales.

Easily accessible just off the M4. Elevated location overlooking the rolling countryside. Exceptionally clean facilities. Free WiFi plus free streaming WiFi. Very efficient owners who pull out all the stops before arrival and on arrival. They produce an excellent booklet about the site, the facilities, local shops, walks, pubs and local eateries. The site is very quiet and not many pitches. Our only minor gripe was the poor water pressure in the electric showers.A good base for exploring the Gower Peninsula and Swansea, and perhaps further afield towards Tenby.
We had a serviced pitch with amazing views. We were greeted by the owner of the site and shown to our pitch. The site is kept very tidy and the facilities were always very clean, lovely flowers in the ladies toilet was a bonus. The location was good, local co-op in the village within walking distance. Large retail park just 15 minutes away. Plenty of things to do in the area.
The site is really 5 star . Very clean site. The owners made us very welcone The views are lovely . Already booked fr nx year
Absolutely spotless site, family run and very friendly very helpful staff. Plenty to occupy you in the surrounding area . Nice to visit for a long weekend or longer stay.
We’ve been staying at llwynifan farm over the last 5 years and always find a beautiful, clean well kept site and a very warm welcome… Well Done!
Everything was spot on excellent site , friendly and clean we loved the site so much we have already booked for 2025 Great place
Very impressed with this site. Received video before arrival showing approach to site which was very helpful. Grounds and amenities block kept immaculate throughout our 3 night stay. Even the dog exercise field was immaculate too! Received text when the provisions van arrived on site. Well run recycling area. Excellent views from all pitches. Large pitches. Very quiet site just what you need for a relaxing break
Really enjoyed our stay at Llwynifan Farm. The site is beautifully maintained, with lovely views and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely revisit.
This is the second time we've stayed here and it seems to get better (if that's possible) with every visit. The owners Hywel and Cathrin are so pleasant, helpful, nothing is too much trouble, work very hard and keep the site absolutely spotless and all pitches offer beautiful views. It's no wonder so many keep coming back to this site, us included and we will be definitely returning in the near future.
The site was very easy to find, just off the M4 at the top of a quiet village. The amenities were first class clean well maintained and the extra touch of lovely liquid soap and individual hand wipes were an extra luxury. We were made to feel very welcome with everything explained fully. The dog exercise field was well maintained and very useful first thing in the morning. The site always looked immaculate and the view over the surrounding area was stunning. The only downside was the lack of local amenities within walking distance. We had to use the car every time we went out and it was quite a way to beaches and walking areas that we could use with the dog, no village pub and the Bridge Restaurant was not in walking distance for us. We did book this on line our last night asking for a table for 2 adults and 1 dog but when we arrived we couldn’t take the dog inside and it was a little late to eat outside so were disappointed. All the places we visited were outstanding.
