South Wales Touring Park is nestled in the picturesque town of Llangennech near Llanelli, and stands as an exquisite adults-only touring park. Strategically located just a mile from junction 48 of the M4, this family-run gem serves as an ideal hub for exploring the wonders of South and West Wales.
Catering to both motorhomes and caravans, the park boasts 25 hard-standing pitches, each offering captivating views. Ensuring a comfortable stay, the facilities include heated shower rooms, toilets, dishwashing areas, and laundry facilities. For those seeking convenience, there are ten fully serviced pitches available. The park's membership in Tranquil Parks and Premier Parks underscores its commitment to providing a serene and top-notch experience.
While there is no on-site shop, the park compensates by arranging regular fresh deliveries. A weekly visit from the fishmonger and a Saturday morning appearance of a fruit and vegetable mobile shop add to the charm. Alternatively, the nearby Llangennech village, a mere 0.8 miles away, provides additional options for provisions.
Beyond the park's borders, adventure beckons. Carmarthenshire, recognised as a hiking hot-spot, offers some of the finest walking terrains. Visitors can explore the breathtaking landscapes ranging from Cardiff and the valleys to Pembrokeshire, the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and the Gower Peninsula.
For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.
Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.
In essence, South Wales Touring Park/Llwynifan Farm stands as a haven for adult travellers seeking tranquillity, excellent amenities, and easy access to the diverse attractions of South and West Wales.

We were met on arrival by Hywel who showed us around the site and pitch etc. what an amazing site it is, immaculately clean, posh embroidered facecloths to dry your hands on instead of paper towels. They smelt delicious. The toilets had fresh flowers which Cathrin grew in her gorgeous garden. They are great hosts, brother and sister who quite rightly are very proud of their home and the campsite that the family have grown over many years. The secure dog field was great for George complete with doggy training equipment, agility course. Every pitch was spacious and had a stunning view. We had a fabulous stay and it was great for touring around the Gower and Pembrokeshire. Thank you to Hywel and Cathrin for making us do welcome.
Booking process and email updates very good. Welcomed by Hywel and shown to pitch. Facilities super clean with hand wash (excellent) and towels. Very quiet, great views, Cathrin super friendly and helpful. Great base to explore surrounding area, and would reccomend Mumbles and the Gower, Oystermouth Castle and Rhossili.Would definitely return!

Spent 4 nights recently what an absolutely fantastic site , can’t tell you how wonderful it is there , scenic , tranquil, facilities are second to none , well worth visiting there
Great site, Hywel was friendly & helpful. Great beaches along the coast with easy access. Hare & Hounds at Fforest was a great gastro pub. Good shops in the area. Overall we couldn’t fault anything.
We have been coming here for many years, always spotlessly clean, great views, quiet site and we'll placed for visiting the many attractions such as the mumbles.Huge range of shopping available 5 mins away.
This was our first visit to Llwynifan Farm and from the start we were extremely impressed. The information emailed to us before our arrival was very helpful with both the directions, location and site access. The site itself is spotless and peaceful. The dog exercise area is far superior too. It even has it's own agility course!Toilets and showers were both modern and spotless. Hywell is the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for a relaxing holiday.
Llwynifan Farm is one of the nicest sites we have had the pleasure of staying at. The owners are so friendly and helpful, the pre arrival details were so useful and the welcome pack on arrival was a lovely surprise and contained lots of useful information. Everything on the site was well thought out and pristinely clean. The pitches were spacious and had lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Our little dog loved the dog field with its agility course and he was getting quite good at going over the obstacles by the end of our holiday! Both the TV and wifi signal were good. If we lived closer I'm sure that we would be regular visitors to this very lovely caravan site.
Friendly well run site with excellent facilities and with a great view.Dog recreation area is a real bonus, treats and bags as well.A T V aerial direction pointer on the info would be helpful.
