South Wales Touring Park is nestled in the picturesque town of Llangennech near Llanelli, and stands as an exquisite adults-only touring park. Strategically located just a mile from junction 48 of the M4, this family-run gem serves as an ideal hub for exploring the wonders of South and West Wales.
Catering to both motorhomes and caravans, the park boasts 25 hard-standing pitches, each offering captivating views. Ensuring a comfortable stay, the facilities include heated shower rooms, toilets, dishwashing areas, and laundry facilities. For those seeking convenience, there are ten fully serviced pitches available. The park's membership in Tranquil Parks and Premier Parks underscores its commitment to providing a serene and top-notch experience.
While there is no on-site shop, the park compensates by arranging regular fresh deliveries. A weekly visit from the fishmonger and a Saturday morning appearance of a fruit and vegetable mobile shop add to the charm. Alternatively, the nearby Llangennech village, a mere 0.8 miles away, provides additional options for provisions.
Beyond the park's borders, adventure beckons. Carmarthenshire, recognised as a hiking hot-spot, offers some of the finest walking terrains. Visitors can explore the breathtaking landscapes ranging from Cardiff and the valleys to Pembrokeshire, the Towy Valley, the Brecon Beacons, and the Gower Peninsula.
For those with a penchant for botanical wonders, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a short 13-mile drive away, houses the world's largest single-span domed glasshouse. Additionally, Aberglasney Garden, a 16-mile drive, presents another botanical haven, its restoration since 1995 transforming it into a glorious estate. Visitors can avail of discounted admission tickets for both of these gardens at the park.
Even in the face of occasional rainfall, the region's attractions remain vibrant. South Wales boasts a plethora of activities, from a visit to the Gwili Railway to exploring the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Penclaclwydd. Guided tours of National Trust properties such as Dolaicothi Gold Mines and Newton House offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area.
In essence, South Wales Touring Park/Llwynifan Farm stands as a haven for adult travellers seeking tranquillity, excellent amenities, and easy access to the diverse attractions of South and West Wales.

We stayed for 11 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our whole stay. Immaculate site. Facilities exceptionally clean and well looked after. Loved the little hand towels in the wc. Lovely views from pitch. Hywel was a very friendly host. Will definitely return.
Very well run clean pitches toilets spotless lovely dog run were you can leave then off lead near M4
Great family run adults only site. Location is ideal, just off M4 junction and an easy drive to Llanelli and coastal path. Amazingly well kept site, with pleasant and helpful owners. Llangennech village has a Co-Op store, takeaways and a couple of pubs which serve meals. The Bridge in particular has a great menu and a good choice of wines and beers. We loved watching the cows in the neighbouring field.
We only stayed one night as a stopover as we were booked in to a site near St Davids. Had we known about this site before we would have stopped longer. Friendly ultra clean , quite and well placed with a bus stop near by. It really is a little gem of a find and would definitely recommend.
Our first time and we must say we couldn't fault anything very clean all around the site pitches well looked after electric card easy to use and retrieve cash on meter that is left toilets and showers spot on clean warm dog walking area clean and safe for your dog and top notch staff we couldn't find any faults and we booked before we left to return also directions very easy and clear to site nice and peaceful
What a beautiful and well kept site .Fantastic view and the owners are so nice and helpful can't wait to go back again what a little gem
Made welcome as soon as we arrived...hywel could not be more helpful. Even stored our grandchildren Easter eggs at his house ,because of the warm weather. Definitely be back.
Hywel and Cathrin are very welcoming, and extremely friendly but not intrusive. The site is kept to the highest of standards, so clean and well organised. The refuse/recycling area is one of the best I have ever seen. The toilet and shower facilities are immaculate. The welcome pack on arrival gives you all the information you require, and include free samples of tea and coffee. Apart from the steep hill entrance to the site, it’s quite an easy walk into the village, where there are a few pubs, takeaways and grocery stores. We usually go to the Castle Inn, the owner is very welcoming and friendly, and the drinks are very competively priced, it has a lovely relaxing beer garden at the rear.We have also used the Indian takeaway many times, delicious food and again at amazing prices.
Clean, friendly, well located site. Immaculate facilities, hosts helpful, nothing too much trouble. local well stocked travelling shop visits site.
Everything about this site is lovely. There are wonderful views. The site is immaculate and the proprietors are friendly helpful people. We have caravanned for more than 40 years and this has to be one of the best if not the best that we have stayed on. Impossible to fault
