We enjoyed a two week stay. This is a great base for exploring the lovely Devon countryside. Our longest drive was APPX 45 minutes to Tavistock and Dartmoor. With so many places to visit and both Dartmoor and Exmoor, fantastic.

We had a fantastic stay at Smytham Holiday Park. The whole site is kept beautifully clean and tidy.Out dog loved running around the dog exercise area and we had a lovely walk to a cafe along the trail. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and tidy. The bar was nice and all the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Great little campsite. Shower facilities are great, all sites should take a look at these and incorporate them on site. Benches for inside shower to place items that won’t get wet due to a half wall between shower and bench. On site pool was great last year but we came to early in season for it to be open, this was a shame as at reception we were told temps of the water then told not open. Will be returning though

Fantastic park. Toilets and showers excellent best we have stayed at. Lovely landscaped grounds with stream running through with ponds full of fish. Loads of birds nesting in the trees and roaming the grounds in the evening when quiet. Direct access on to Tarka Trail so cyclists can ride traffic free for at least 20 miles and walkers can get out in the forests and be at one with nature..

I spent a week on a En-Suite all weather pitch while attending a course nearby, I must say, I think this may be my new minimum requirement. The en-suite facilities were spotless and serviced with piping hot water and an mini heater, I didn't have the best of weather and was cycling the 5 miles or so back and forth from the course every day so to get back and have this luxury was incredible. The pitch size was also excellent with it's own picnic bench and services, power, water etc. I can't comment on the staff as I arrived after 5pm and was out and back outside of office hours, however I did manage to sort out the daily wi-fi extra payment via email which was excellent service.I will definitely return with the family and take advantage of the proximity to the Tarka trail and the rest of the site's facilities.Thank you for a great stay.

We loved our stay. The ensuite camping pitch was perfect for our needs. The whole site was very well maintained, helpful staff and our children loved the games room. Would love to stay again when the pool is open. Thank you.

Facilities are great and the site is in a great location geographically.

We found the site staff to be very friendly and extremely helpful. The facilities were excellent and clean. The size of the pitch was great.

Clean modern facilities, they even have a free dishwasher for you to use. Clean modern toilet/ shower block. Very impressed with the site in general. The dog walk leads you through a glen on to the Tarka Trail. Plenty of good size pitches. They also have a swimming pool and kiddies pool but was closed at the time of our visit as it was out of season ( Easter)

We have stayed here for a few years and look forward to our bi annual visits. The facilities are second to none and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. The pitches have plenty of room to spread out. Easy access to the Tarka Trail for walking or cycling.Everything one could want on site, even a swimming pool.
