From check-in to check out everything about this site is first class. The standard of housekeeping both in the caravan and throughout the site is really impressive as is the level of equipment, linen, crockery, furniture etc within the accommodation. The provision of children's plates etc is a bonus as is the bbq complete with tools! It's good that tea, coffee etc is provided as well as a lovely welcome pack.A few minutes on foot to the sandy bay and excellent play area kept our six and three year old grandsons very happy and just a short drive to other attractions; both Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright have some lovely cafés. The coastal and woodland walks are very accessible.The friendly staff really make this a special place. This is our fourth visit and doubt it will be our last.I'd say all of this represents excellent value for money.

My extended family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sandgreen's high quality rental static caravans. They are spotless, comfortable and fully equipped, complete with outdoor furniture and gas BBQ. We enjoyed time on the beach and in the safe swimming conditions, clambering and crab fishing on the rocks and shady walks into town along the traffic free path. It did help that we had glorious weather! Thanks Sandgreen - we had a great time.

We had a superb stay at the Wee Yin and didn't want to leave. The views are incredible and it's so peaceful - just birds and waves. The space has been really well thought out and is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Sitting out on the decking gazing out to sea is magical, if you can tear yourself away the beach a stones throw away is lovely - the sea was warm and soft sand throughout. A big shout out to the staff of Sandgreen who go the extra mile to welcome you and make sure you're comfortable, including a fabulous welcome pack full of goodies. Sally and Jules were so lovely and added to a perfect stay. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful location with a stunning beach. Peaceful family friendly site. Caravan was well equipped and very comfortable. Hoping to return next year.

Perfect location, gorgeous accommodation, stunning bay and beach, amazing park, fantastic to see so much wildlife and brilliant staff who work hard to make your stay special. What more can you ask for?

Have stayed several times at Sandgreen and always have had a great holiday. The staff are helpful, Caravans and grounds well maintained. A pleasure to visit.

We had a fantastic time.- v friendly staff to welcome us when checking in late- v dog friendly/ including water bowl and biscuits- great to have milk for teas/ coffees- helpful staff on reception- clean and comfortable homely accomodation with everything we needed- we made use of bbq one night- throws included were a comfort when weather not so gd- cows/ rabbits/ pheasants - beautiful view of countryside from caravan and v quiet site- hot drinks for all and sweet bags for kids a great touch- easy to use laundry included x1 time - all we needed for the week- v well maintained grounds so we set up badminton easily - great dog waste and recycling bins about sire - best caravan stay we've had anywhere!Thanks all for a great stay!

This was our second visit to Sandgreen, which is a jewel of a place to stay. The caravans are immaculate and well equipped. The site itself is perfectly kept with plenty of room for each caravan. The staff are all great, friendly and helpful.The long and clean beach is only a short walk away (5 minutes from our caravan), so it is ideal for boats or kayaks and for swimming.The local town, Gatehouse of Fleet, is a lovely town with several places to eat and two golf courses. Not far away is Kirkcudbright which also has good restaurants as well as several art galleries. There are plenty of other towns and attractions to visit.The only downside to our week long break in June was the weather, but that is beyond the powers of Sandgreen to sort! Hopefully, next time we visit, we will see the sun
