I had never been to this site before and when I arrived I was surprised at how peaceful and calm it was. When I went to reception to advise I had arrived I was so pleased with the warm welcome and the offer to lead me to the caravan pitch. Having stayed in caravans and hotels over the years I was very impressed with the cleanliness the amenities and the size and comfort of the caravan. During my stay I was able to appreciate the beauty of the scenery at the site. I also discovered that I was able to visit local attractions easily and there was practical and helpful advice by magazine and folder with lots of useful information about local attractions. I had such a good time members of my family and some of my friends are already asking me when I am going back and can they come with me.

I rented the caravan for my grand-daughter and family. They were delighted with the caravan, the peaceful site, and the view. The introductory box was well appreciated and the van was clean and well presented. They loved the safe sea swimming, beach, exploring the rocks, walking out at low tide, coastal walks and local hill climbing. The Creetown Gem and Rock Museum was the childrens favourite and the little Museum at Kirkudbright is always fascinating, not to forget the ice creams at Gatehouse.

Lovely friendly welcome at Sandgreen.Our caravan (Fleet) was immaculate and well stocked.The beach just a short stroll away is beautiful.

Had a lovely 3 night stay in the WeeYinIt was very well equipped and perfectly located on the beach front It’s just a long drive from Suffolk!

The Wee Yin is just that, a very compact lodge, but the position looking directly over the beach is uninterrupted and idyllic. The generous sized private deck is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The activity that accompanies the arrival of the tide is entertaining. Boats, wind surfers, yachts all take to the water and the excited calls of the children enjoying themselves lasts only as long as the tide allows. The lodge is comfortable and very well equipped.

Won’t be back because the prices are tripling for next year

This was the third time I have stayed in one of your rental caravans. The first two times we stayed in caravans that had a very private pitch, we didn’t really hear anything of our neighbours. This time we stayed in one of your new holiday caravans, BV3, which was situated in very close proximity to the neighbouring vans, there was no privacy on the patio area and we could hear constant noise from our neighbours when they were ‘home’. This lack of privacy and noise from our neighbours, who were just going about their normal family life, has put me off of returning to Sandgreen.It is a beautiful park, it is clean and extremely well cared for. The beach is gorgeous too. We love everything about Sandgreen, apart from the issues mentioned above.

From arrival to departure the staff are always available and friendly. They care about the residents having a good holiday. They recommend places you might not have heard of.The site a spotless and a pleasure to walk around and down to the beach.The spacing of the caravans is taken into consideration as well. Inside there is everything you need and the welcome basket is a lovely idea.Kirkubright and Gatehouse of Fleet are nearby for shopping and have some lovely restaurants. Logan Botanical gardens is a must.

From check-in to check out everything about this site is first class. The standard of housekeeping both in the caravan and throughout the site is really impressive as is the level of equipment, linen, crockery, furniture etc within the accommodation. The provision of children's plates etc is a bonus as is the bbq complete with tools! It's good that tea, coffee etc is provided as well as a lovely welcome pack.A few minutes on foot to the sandy bay and excellent play area kept our six and three year old grandsons very happy and just a short drive to other attractions; both Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright have some lovely cafés. The coastal and woodland walks are very accessible.The friendly staff really make this a special place. This is our fourth visit and doubt it will be our last.I'd say all of this represents excellent value for money.

My extended family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sandgreen's high quality rental static caravans. They are spotless, comfortable and fully equipped, complete with outdoor furniture and gas BBQ. We enjoyed time on the beach and in the safe swimming conditions, clambering and crab fishing on the rocks and shady walks into town along the traffic free path. It did help that we had glorious weather! Thanks Sandgreen - we had a great time.
