Did not receive the normal warm welcome, booking extremely stressful too.

We have been coming to Sacrewell for well over 20 years until this year we have always felt welcome and enjoyed our stay. As I’m 75 years old and not computer literate I wanted to phone and book in, I was eventually spoken to in a frosty manner by a unfriendly lady.. Had we not promised to take our grandchildren I would have put the phone down and cancelled it. I paid half of the £116 for 2 nights on booking then a week later had a text demanding the final amount which I was told was a computer error as we still had 4 weeks before we had booked. However due to unforeseen circumstances we decided to book just the pitch a day earlier this time another lady took the booking she was very professional and helpful. We felt the play area lacked seating or shade we only spent an hour all the time we spent there In the play area therefore we found it very expensive. Campers toilets great, showers not at all suitable for disabled like myself . Showers definitely need updating.

Camping area is great, not too busy and have plenty of space on your pitch. Toilets and showers are very clean. Suggestions…have sign for cleaning times of the showers so we know when to avoid walking round to them. Also, a children's play area in the camping area as our children kept running over to the random sand pile and climbing the fence to the play area on the other side. Entry to the farm, play barn and outside play area is reasonably priced and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Really love the court yard shops and the route round the farm. Had the pleasure of going on the tractor ride this year which was very interesting and the kids loved seeing the barns and machinery. The cafe is clean and offers a nice selection of food and drinks. Overall have enjoyed our stay each year and have made it an annual holiday for us. Looking forward to visiting again next year. Thank you!

Me and my two children had a very nice stay at Sacrewell farm. All staff where very nice and accommodating to all our needs, nothing was to much trouble. The toilets and showers were always cleaned to a good standard. The play areas, play barn, animals, daily activities were all amazing. Staff very knowledgeable on the animals and always had time for my two children and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be back for more stays. Thank you for making our little holiday perfect 🥰

Great site with plenty of activities or a family

We really enjoyed our first visit to the site. The play area and soft play were great for my 6 year old to enjoy. The facilities are good, although it would be good if the cafe was open earlier and there were a few more essentials available in the shop like bread. We joined in the organised activities on the Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. It was very well run and the kids and adults in the group all had fun.

Family fun

The majority of facilities are excellent although the breakfast is over priced and over cooked. £7.95 for 1 sausage, 1 leathery bacon, 1 hard fried egg, squishy hash browns over cooked cheap beans and a single slice of toast then you have to buy a tea or coffee extra taken your breakfast to £10 a head. Terrible price terrible food preperation x 5 £50 waste of money. The animals are great as is the play areas, there could be better time tables for the tractor rides and advanced booking signs in place, we missed out because we didn't know to pre book and all rides sold out at 11.00am next available 2.30pm we had to leave at 1.30. Dave the campsite caretaker was very nice, down to earth and very helpful. The staff seemed friendly on the whole some a little bit under trained but 8 out of 10 from me overall.

Well spaced pitches. Lots of room for kids to play on campsite. Clean facilities. Farm lovely and cafe nice. Farm play area is outstanding. Couldn't get my daughter off it and indoor play area for if it rains was brilliant too. Definitely be back. Good base for surrounding area.

Nice brand new play area but it just makes the rest of Sacrewell look tired, No hot water at washing up point, staff member did attempt to fix it but had no luck, on the morning of departure, I nipped in to the campers showers just to check them out as we had used the ‘field showers’ near our pitch, I honestly don’t think the staff could have checked them all weekend as the amounts of litter and personal hygiene products on the floor was unbelievable.
