Camping facilities basic (showers were a little weak!) but the facilities for the kids were amazing, breakfast in the cafe was beautiful - and the ice cream man visit made our evening!

Perfect for kids

Allen-Crawford, Rebekah - 26/08/2025

Our 2nd camp visit and just as great as first. Excellent facilities, friendly staff, great attractions and competitive price.I'd have given 5star but we had a bad experience this time with a large group camping, telling people where to pitch up 'out of their way' and their kids dominating the park unsupervised and bullying anyone not in their group. Also full on screaming into the early hours of morning making sleeping difficult. It just highlighted that maybe a bit more monitoring was needed for that sort of behaviour. I did email in and management said they would be looking into it. Unfortunately though it put quite a big downer on our stay.

Fab family camping trip with added extras

White, Louise - 21/08/2025

Great facilities being on the farm with great activities and playground. Only recommendations for improvements were: showers could be cleaner, electric points to charge cars, and a food van collab to come on to site, like a pizza van, like the ice cream van that comes.

Not what it used to be.

Johnson, Sheila - 16/08/2025

On arrival at Sacrewell with a touring caravan some very nasty potholes on the main drive in, no signpost to say caravans turn left into the lower camping area, therefore drove down to reception then had a job to turn.We stayed at Sacrewell a few years ago, so much better then, no animal racing(supposedly now cruel to animals) they never looked like they weren't happy, treats at the end. We also had a good time before making butter in the mill house, nothing like that now. The biggest miss for grandchildren, no pond dipping, all the kids used to love this. Didn't use any local amenities or local attractions. Not enough in farm to keep two ten year old entertained for our 5 day stay, so worked out expensive stay. Do not stay pitch 5 awful smells from sceptic tank.

Hi Sheila, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that your recent stay didn’t meet your expectations, especially as you had enjoyed visiting us in the past. We really appreciate you pointing out the issues with signage and pitch 5 , we’ll make sure this is reviewed with the team.Over the years, we’ve made some changes to our events and activities to reflect modern animal welfare standards, which is why certain activities such as animal racing are no longer part of the programme. While some favourites have been retired, we’ve introduced new experiences and hands-on activities around the farm to give children plenty to enjoy. Your comments about pond dipping and more interactive sessions are really valuable, and we’ll share them with the team as we plan for the future.

Fantastic for Families

Harwood, Emily - 14/08/2025

This is a great weekend get-away site for families with children of all ages! There is plenty for children to do. It is easy to access and not far off the main road. Late check in was very easy as there is a friendly warden on site available after 6pm. I would consider returning for a family holiday.Because the focus is children's entertainment, I wouldn't recommend the site to anyone visiting without kids during the weekends/summer holidays. When part of our group left the site early, my partner and I was left on our own without children and it felt a little weird. A large family group with about 10 tents were pitched next to us, 3 metres away (not the 6 metre safety gap) which also put us off staying our last night as they intruded into the little space we had. There is not enough showers/toilets for the amount of pitches as we were constantly queueing to use them during our stay on the weekend but I imagine that isn't the case during the week. This wouldn't put me off returning!

Beautiful. Highly recommended for family long weekend of camping!

Connelly, Natalie - 14/08/2025

What a lovely place to camp. So beautiful and open.We have been visiting th3 farm for years and this wa sour first time staying.I was welcomed by the groundskeeper (he was in reception when I arrived and helped me with check in). Our plot was 19, our friends 20. We were right round the back which was perfect for minimal traffic flow to toilets however that meant we were furthest from the toilets but swings and roundabouts! The facilities were clean, the campsite was clean and pristine.A second washing up station was close to us tho and some smaller cabin showers which altho appeared a bit ropey were actually very good and warm! (Just asked sure you hang up clothes or they will get soaked!)My only criticism is there's only 4 toilets in the block for the entire campsite! (In the ladies anyway). The farm is extra price but 100% worth it as they have.loads to do if you are family camping.

Family break with our son & his family including 4 kids with ages between 5 & 14. Worked really well for the younger 2, not quite so well for the older ones .Toilets and showers nice & clean , staff friendly & helpful.Really good location near A1 .Some sort of food shop, veg. Bread. Milk would be a really good addition. Be aware the shop on site only sells toys , sweets & ice cream.
