Uncompromising booking policy,

Whitehead, Dominic - 23/07/2024

I made a booking at relatively short notice to take my young grandson on his first camping trip. Sadly, he was ill and could not travel, so I tried to cancel the booking and asked about a possible refund, only to be met with a very firm rejection and told that cancellation refunds, regardless of the reason, would only be made with 4 weeks notice. I find this incredibly hostile and bizarre, as it effectively means Sacrewell Farm has a no refunds under any circumstances policy. Who, after all, can predict illness (and certainly at a month away from the date!).

Overall experience

Mandrell, Sian - 21/06/2024

Overall a great over night stay. Spacious site with lots of room for the kids to run around and play. Toilet and shower facilities are a bit basic and the water point is by the centre which is a bit of a trek when your pitch is the end of the field. Great farm park with lots for the kids to do and see. Really good play area in the campsite too which kept the kids busy and in sight of the tent so adults could keep an eye on them from the comfort of a camping chair. No camp shop which isn’t clear on the website, if you don’t come with food you would need to drive out TJ the supermarket. Would be good if there was a small supply of basic food and cooking items in the centre shop (milk, bread, bbq coals etc)
