We stayed for 2 nights, the place is awsome. Nice and Clean. I personally recommend this place to anyone who's willing to travel around Cornwall.
My 3rd stay at this oasis and it was as joyous as before. The booking, arrival, check-in and departure are seamlessThe Hosts ( yes Owners but act like they are welcoming you to their family home ) cannot do enough to ensure the stay is the best you can have.I will be back
We loved our one night stay at Ruthern Valley. We just stayed one night to use as a base to cycle on the camel trail to Padstow and back. Our plot was surrounded by large trees, we heard loads of birds. The facilities were great and the shop was well stocked
We had a great time in Pod 11 at Ruthern Valley holidays, it was exactly what we wanted for our week away in Cornwall with the kids. The site was very clean, friendly, helpful staff and the little shop on site was really handy. We’ll definitely return!
We loved it at Ruthern Valley Holidays. Superbly run site. We stayed in a cabin and then camped. Both were great. Owners are friendly and helpful. Lovely to have nature all around us. Lovely wooded and cool site perfect in hot weather. I would go back definitely! Thanks to everybody who makes it run so well. Dylan
We had a wonderful stay at this campsite with our family. Everything we needed for everyday use was available, and the campsite was very quiet and peaceful. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only thing I would suggest improving is the lighting around the glamping pods. On the way to the toilets, there is no lighting, which can be a little stressful at night. Without a torch, it can be quite difficult to see where you are going, especially when you need to use the toilet during the night.Apart from that, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this campsite to families. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!
Did offer all things promised
The site is well positioned for visiting around Cornwall. It's not too big and is clean and quiet with an area for kids (and adults) to play. Our young person loved visiting the pigs. The only downside is the caravan (the only one on site) that we stayed in has seen better days and really needs to be replaced it was grubby and cold at night even with a heatwave!! Overall we had a great week and im sure the lodges and pods on site would be a better choice if we stayed again.
We stayed in a glamping pod; it had all you needed for a camp. Toilets and showers were clean, but more so the owners were really kind (when we locked our keys in) and in helping or hiring us bikes. Great to access the camel trail and perfect for us to see our family in Cornwall
This is the best campsite ever. The site is small with with lots of trees, the facilities block is clean tidy. Perfect for a quiet camping experience.
