A great location and excellent accommodation

This is a really peaceful setting in a great location in Cornwall. The lodges are fabulous - cosy, clean, spacious and very well equipped. The shop is well stocked and the friendly owners are on hand to help with any questions.

Beautiful setting, good accomodation, good facilities. Just a shame about the great British weather when we visited!! Can't have it all.

Delightful

Konieczko-Hansom, Pete - 02/05/2024

I arrived just before close and was warmly greeted. I was given directions to a lovely secluded spot and was able to set up in peace. The surrounding area is, as per the title, delightful. The facilities are clean and there is adequate drinking water (always a bonus…). The only downside is the limited number of showers/toilets mean there may be a queue during busier times but that wasn’t an issue here. Would highly recommend.

Very quiet site in a natural setting

Thompson, Keith - 22/04/2024

This site is close to the Tarka Trail giving off road cycling or walking access to Padstow, Wadebridge, Bodmin and Wendfordbridge (and its lovely Cafe). The owners are lovely, the site is easy to find, but some country lanes to navigate, so bear this in mind if you have a bigger MH. Lots of wildlife visit the site, so take some bird food and the tame robins will entertain you. Pitche are largely scattered around the perimiter amongst the trees, and are generously sized. The only downside is the fairly basic facilities. With a bit of investment they could be improved, which would pay dividends. There are quite a few wooden chalets on site, which I guess is where the money has been spent, but please don't neglect the touring and camping customers!I have been three times in my campervan, so nothing has put me off revisiting.

Wonderful site and location

Evans, Sandy - 18/04/2024

We loved our 5 night stay in the Easter holidays in our touring caravan. The site is so tranquil with woodland trails & a lovely secluded play area. The shop was perfect for last minute provisions and the owners were really friendly and helpful. The location is perfect-we could cycle to the Camel Trail easily and safely with our 7 and 10 year old and from there to Bodmin & Wadebridge. Beaches (north and south) are 30 minutes away down pretty lanes. We will be coming back and are torn between telling everyone and keeping it a secret-loved it!

What an amazing campsite. Woodland setting which is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Pitches are large to accommodate all means of camping with grass & hatdstanding. Facilities are clean & plentiful. Bargain price too. We will most definitely be back soon. Thank you.
