We stayed in a megapod which was very cosy and clean, with everything as described and included crockery and cutlery which we were not expecting. We had an enjoyable peaceful break away from it all.
Lodge was lovely. Value for money for what we needed.
Perfectly placed beautiful spot accommodation spotless owners extremely helpful and friendly .. I have stayed several times it’s always perfect
Last 4 miles very narrow. Pot holes overhanging branches. Lost a lens from a marker light. Only 2 hardstandings for motorhomes. Shower and toilets excellent. Very quiet and peaceful. WiFi very poor at our pitch. Took an hour to watch Only Connect, it's a 30 min programme. Close to the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Fortunately we tow a small car. Well stocked shop.
Yet another short stay break. We love it here even if the weather’s bad. Homely accommodation immaculately presented.
I’d just like to say a big thank you to Andrew & Nicola as I’d received this gift of a stay last year and then contracted covid which took me months to recover from. On my rescheduled date this Easter I contracted another illness which mean I had to postpone yet again. Eventually we made it and loved the seclusion, without the uncomfortable camping! We stayed during the build up to storm Ciaron and I think this made it atmospheric and heightened the feeling of snugness inside the wigwam. The heater kept us very toasty.
We loved the bungalow. It was nice and warm and provided us with a great base to explore Cornwall.I have stayed here before and returned because I enjoyed my stay previously. The only things I would recommend is to cover the pipes in the shower as they get very hot and we burned ourselves on them more than once. The other is that 9:30 checkout is a bit early, especially with grumpy teenagers who don't want to help strip the beds!Other than that, we had a great stay!
A beautiful secluded location, daughter loved the wigwam which felt like camping, but in cold October. Would recommend as the perfect get away.
A beautiful site in a lovely location operated by very friendly proprietors and located centrally for easy travelling to walks and coastal areas. What more to look for if you want a break from the daily hustle and bustle?
We have stayed twice at Ruthern Valley, both times in one of the wooden wigwams. They're cosy, comfortable and clean. Heated so great all year around and the site itself is perfect for children, fab park and they loved the chickens through what we called the secret path. Would highly recommend
