We had a wonderful stay with only a few minor issues, the WiFi signal at the lodge was very intermittent, there was no proper drainage around the hot tub so the garden area was just muck so unable to sit out.
This was our first time visiting Ribblesdale Park and we were so impressed. This was a couples getaway to relax and enjoy the countryside and that's exactly what we did. The lodge we stayed in was beautiful and the onsite bar and restaurant is an added bonus. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and will definitely we coming back.
An ideal location for a relaxing holiday. All staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent food quality in restaurants. Amberwood is a fantastic lodge with a private patio area. Very clean on arrival. Minor issues regarding the hot tub and central heating were dealt with very quickly.
We found the lodge very warm and comfortable in the winter months. The lodge had 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and more than enough room for a family of 6. We very much appreciated the wrap around decking for the dog and would be beneficial to families with toddlers. The hot tub was huge and at temperature for arrival. The view from the decking over looking the trees was lovely and private with the added bonus of the peacocks visiting. We enjoyed a walk in the local area and ate lunch and evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious. All members of staff we came across were lovely and the whole place felt very family and pet friendly. We will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Had a wonderful weekend away with friends . Stayed in Huntsman’s cottage perfect place to enjoy a weekend away with friends
To start with the place and grounds we've lovely but the accommodation let the stay down. We stayed on the deer park next door to the main bar area. The car park allocated to us was regularly taken and we had to park in the main car park. The house looked very tired . Examples were lights that weren't working around the hot tub, tap in the kitchen that was hard to switch off, fridge door that you had to lift to open /close. Frying pan looked like someone had cooked an omelette in it before placing it back in cupboard. Living room which looked lovely but the central ceramic table seemed to be home to a colony of ants making us have to lift our feet every time we sat on sofa to not get ants crawling on us. The internet was so intermittent it might not as well be available. We did raise some issues but felt there were too many to sort so decided to leave Saturday morning instead of the planned Monday morning.
We stayed in lodge 40, lovely & clean on arrival, but a little tired, the glass in the French doors had blown, making them just look dirty! not luxury as stated.Tired worn rugs in the bedroom/bathroom area, hot tub area needed a little TLC, also the light in the hot tub didn’t work and lost temperature very quickly, the bath took a good half hour to run because you had to have the hot tap on only a smidgen to get hot water out of it, so a little frustrating. The park overall is lovely, but expected more luxury for the money we paid.
I love staying at Ribbesdale park and have stayed 3 times in the last 6 monthsHowever i wouldnt stay in this lodge againThe sofa is far too small for 1 person so 2 would be impossibleThe lodge has different floor levelsAnd the Hot Tub isnt easy too get out ofHowever the bedroom is absolutely amazing !
It would be great if we were able to hire robes for use in the hot tub accommodation
Lovely time .everything spot on as usual. Thanks to Lucy for all your help. See you soon.
