Really enjoyed my stay here, very conveniently located for Glasgow, train station, local pub and cafe within 10 minutes walk (the cafe do the best Scottish breakfasts) staff on site very friendly and accommodating, the only downside was not being able to park the car near the tent which I did appreciate as to not mess up the grass. Would visit again, perfect to commute into Glasgow on the train which takes 15 minutes. Thanks you for being most welcoming.

Perfect place to visit Glasgow

The Holiday Park provides quiet and even pits for caravans and campers in the Top Field (upper area of the camping). The pits are specious and provide enough space for chairs and tables. The train-station in Stepps can be reached in a 20 minutes walk and trains to the center of Glasgow depart almost every 15 minutes. There is no shop within the village. The sanitary rooms are rather small and not top standard, but provide whatever is needed for a few days stay.

I only stayed for one night and was allocated a hard standing pitch. It was like being parked in a car park, so would not want to stay longer. The hard standing and grass pitches are much better with more space around you. The showers were adequate.
