Great pitch with view. Amazing friendly helpful staff !! Clean and warm facilities pristine environment 15 minutes ns walk to train station 25 mins Glasgow centre. Lovely country walks on doorstep we walked 10km through seven lochs trail just lovely. Shop pub and cafe in easy walk and people around so friendly will definitely be back.
Lovely friendly staffClean facilities Would be nice if a cafe or bar but thats personal preference
Lovely site with friendly, helpful staff. Although it was in the suburbs of Glasgow, it was quiet and peaceful with birdsong. The facilities were great; clean and hot water for doing washing up which is unusual. Showers and toilets were clean and efficient. It was a 10/15 minute walk to the station (Stepps) and then three stops into Glasgow Queen Street. We spent four days in Glasgow city centre as it was so east to access all the tourist sites from here. We will definitely return.
Amazing to be so close to Glasgow and yet to stay in a quiet, scenic location with excellent, clean facilities and a warm reception, The site is within 20 minutes walk of the local train station, 3 stops, £4.50 return and you are in the centre of Glasgow, We visited the Riverside Museum of Transport, Glasgow Cathedral and, on the second day, the Kelvingrove Museum. All are free to access and we cut down on travelling time by using the local taxis and Uber, both of which were very reasonable weighed against the cost and hassle of public transport. It rained, we had the treat of Storm Dave with hail and snow, but this didn't stop us having an excellent visit and we will certainly be back again to experience more of what Glasgow and the site have to offer in better weather. Thank-you for a lovely 3 nights' stay.
The site was meticulously maintained - the surrounding gardens were beautiful! Staff were helpful. Shower block was nice and warm and clean. Would definitely return if we are back this way again!
Great place to stay for visiting Glasgow and surrounding area. GrBrilliant train service into Glasgow 10 minute walk to Stepps train station. Dog friendly. Plenty of space on the grassy pitch area. Highly recommend.
WE rented one of there hire chalets, absolutely spotless, the staff put the heating on for us arriveing, a really nice touch on a cold afternoon, talking of staff ,what a great bunch of people ,nothing is to much bother for them, its nice to be given the time of day,and clear advice, this is by far a five star site and accomdation, the tourer ste is fabulous on hard standing, totally recommended, Robert&cydnee
The site is in the middle of a housing site. It was well maintained. Staff (we met one person) was friendly. Couldn’t understand why we were placed on the very top pitch despite not many caravans etc being on there. The toilet block was out of action for 24 hours. Another one was available. The showers were red hot and difficult to reduce temp. There was a tent pitched on the top field which arrived during our stay despite high winds and rain. One of the tents didn’t survive the night. We woke up to a domestic abuse incident the following morning.
