Always return to this site as we love the site layout, the friendly owners, the immaculate and well lit facilities and the fact that is doesn’t have a club, bar or entertainment. Who needs entertainment in such a beautiful area so close to many of the best locations in Cornwall! It’s a lovely family and dog friendly site.

This was our Third stay of the year here at Porthtowan and it never disappoints Super Friendly owners and other guests great clean well maintained facilities great pitches surrounded by well maintained lawns and pretty gardens It’s the perfect place to unwind and relax in glorious Cornwall

This is our fourth visit this year and always love coming back to see old friends and make new ones. Andrew, Angie and James are always so friendly and helpful as well as making a great barista coffee. The site and the facilities are always spotless and can fully recommend a visit.

I spent a week here, before spending a week at another site in Somerset.The Somerset site was twice the price - they need to learn from Porthtowan!It's not all about the glam and glitz. What Porthtowan offers is classy, beautifully presented and a lovely friendly service.My Somerset site is squashed in, ok, I have landscaped gardens between my pitche and the next two, but I am on an incline which in a campervan is not ideally sorted. Porthtowan is totally flat, exceptionally well laid out, so that wherever you are you feel you have space, even with people either side of you. It feels spacious but also with that personal touch. You don't feel like 'just another camper' at Porttowan, you are made to feel important to the team.Nothing is too much for the staff & always, always with big smiles.Lovely location an to the village and a good little pub there too which is dog friendly.I wished I had booked 2 weeks at Porthtowan rather than moving to Somerset, but that can't be

Amazing park! The location was the best thing for us as we haven’t been to Cornwall before so wanted to see everything, travel was under an hour for every place. There is a Aldi at the top of the hill for shopping which was perfect. Facilities were clean, safe and accessible. The value for money was exactly what I am happy to pay again.

Friendly welcome, Clean facilities, dog friendly. We didn't use the games room but a great addition when the weather is bad.Kindly allowed friends to visit the Motorhome .Would stay there again if we were that way

We had a lovely stay at Porthtowan Tourist park, the staff were so friendly and the whole campsite was clean with plant pots with beautiful flowers in September. The facilities were also very clean with jeye cloths readily available to clean down the washing up area, also there is a large map by reception showing places of interest stating the distance and time it takes to get there...little touches like these make a difference. There are plenty of little coves a few minutes drive away and many coastal walks and engine houses...at low tide you can see Wheal Coates engine house from Chapel Porth beach. Beautiful area.
