A clean quiet site. The caravan was fully accessible to my husband who has mobility problems following a stroke. The wide recessed doors and spacious wetroom made it so easy

Myself and daughter and granddaughter, we have already spoken about returning and making it longer next time, perfect people ❤️ everything you need is there for you, staff were very welcoming and helpful for anything, great great great, thank you 😊
Having stayed many times at Mowbreck this last visit left us dismayed at how standards have slipped. Before arriving at the park I received a call to ask my ETA and for a £100 damage deposit by card over the phone. I declined and agreed to call into the office thd following day. On entering the caravan I was overwhelmed by the smell of fabric cleaner. I spotted stains on the sofa and armchair chair upholstery and on pulling out the dining chairs saw that they were badly stained. The sofa cushions were covered in dog hair. Being appalled - especially considering that I had been asked for a damage deposit-- I called the owner and transfered to another caravan. This was better but, by the site cleaners admission ,still in need of fabric cleaning. The situation was resolved financially but our holiday marred. The residents that live onsite are friendly. Tara in reception has always been helpful and gone the extra mile but I would not risk booking again.
We hired a static caravan for the week ,park is so peaceful and very tidy but the caravan we hired was full of spiders ,we spend over 1 hour cleaning the spiders Webbs away when we arrived, they we on every corner in every room ,it needed a proper clean not a quick going over ,apart from that the park was ideal .
The park is very well looked after, it is predominantly occupied by residents & holiday caravan owners. Everyone is very friendly & there is a welcoming feeling on the park. The caravan was very comfortable but unfortunately we stayed during a heatwave & there was no air conditioning in the caravan or any available shade on the decking or outside of the caravan. An awning or canopy on the decking would have solved this. The park is located next to a farm & farm land but the area that it is in is residential & there is nothing of interest to walk to.We went to Lytham & St Anne’s several times which is 20 minutes away. These are lovely areas. It’s a great park to stay on if you want to relax & get away from everything but not if you want things to do. Personally, I don’t like having to use my car every day to go somewhere because there’s nothing locally.
Great value for money, well located in a semi rural area quite close to Kirkham. A nice quiet site, great to get away from the hustle and bustle. Very comfortable dog friendly and well equipped caravan with decking areas. Friendly and welcoming staff at check-in and departure.Perfect!
