This was our second stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Site is clean and tidy. Shower block is impeccably clean. We had two dogs, plenty of room to walk them and let them off the lead safely.

The caravan site is so nice and clean looking, the office staff were friendly and helpful! The shower block was clean and quite modern! Not far to drive to garstsng or Lancaster set in a beautiful spot.Will definatly visit again.

We stayed in our campervan just for one night and really enjoyed our stay at Moss Wood, we will definitely be returning again soon. It was great to have the shop on site for essential items, the toilet/shower block was spotless and the campsite was completely silent at night. We also enjoyed a 40 minute walk to Farm Yard Brew Co and are looking forward to returning to Moss Wood, hopefully in the near future.

Stayed for 4 nights mid October, very quiet and peaceful. Spotless facilities and a small shop on site.Easy access for the south lakes, the forest of Bowland and Blackpool and the coast.nearest supermarkets are Garstang about 15 mins away.big field to let the dogs run round on. My only gripe is the pitches aren't level so take some ramps and chocks.

Campsite was well looked after and clean and tidy , warden and shop staff were friendly and very helpful. Shop is well stocked and crisps were lovely . Woodland walk and doggy field were excellent . Not many places to walk to as we were limited to not having a car but a motorhome. Plenty of public footpaths available though to avoid main roads. Shower block was clean and always warm , shower was a bit awkward as it required pressing the button every 10 seconds , suppose it saves on cost but pretty annoying . Overall a good place to chill as was very peaceful at night .

Despite very high winds we had a great time at moss wood. The facilities were excellent,showers and toilets spotless and very modern. Very well stocked shop and really friendly staff.

This was our third visit to Mosswood and yet again we had a fantastic time. Met some lovely people and even managed to help a fellow caravanner out. We will definitely visit again as the facilities are 10/10 the people are always welcoming and the dog walks are super!

We had a one night stay during our onward journey. Campsite is very well run clean and neat and tidy, our stay coincided with one of the wettest days of the year so far so really didn't use the facilities to the best but there was good field and woodland walks for our 4 legged partner and the toilet block was clean with ample hot water in the showers. Will return again if exploring this area of Lancashire as sensible distance to both coast and trough of Bowland as well as Preston and Lancaster.

We initially booked 10 nights but only stayed 7 as weather conditions deteriorated ,which was a shame The site was extremely tidy and clean with great facilities ,shower block and small shop but well stocked . Really good fishing on the two ponds situated away from touring area but accessible by short drive or pulling a trolley. Plenty of places to visit generally 15 to 30 min drive 45 mins to Blackpool or the opposite direction Lake District via M6 close by …..
