Great site and excellent for fishing

Great site nice and quiet while we were there.The relief warden was excellent I was having trouble with the disabled facility door lock so he took it off and sorted it right away problem solved, he was always cheery and nothing was too much trouble for him.We found a great little brew house only a few minutes drive away serving great beer & food 👍🏻 Garstang is only 10-15 minutes drive with great pubs restaurants & supermarkets & shops.We will definitely return in the future.

The site was very clean and the staff very friendly however due our health conditions the site was too remote for us to access the bus service.

A lovely site in a quiet place. A walk up to the fishing lakes is not to be missed where we saw lots of wildlife. There is also a beautiful woodland walk to enjoy. The site has a small well stocked shop with some local produce. The grounds are well kept and the staff helpful and friendly. Our first time there in a touring caravan having previously owned a static van there and we were not disappointed.There are plenty of local attractions to visit but we enjoyed the peacefulness of the site for a nice rest. Dogs are made welcome and with a huge field for the children to play on everyone is catered for. Well done Moss Wood.

The site is beautiful, very well looked after with great toilet and shower facilities which were spotless. All staff we spoke to were very friendly and informative when asking about the local area. Nice woodland walk and massive field which our dogs loved. Looking forward to returning in the future.

This was a very welcome weekend retreat. There is a huge field that the dogs are allowed to run free in (well behaved) and a woodland walk. 🥰 Shop was good, we bought local strawberry milk and wine. Pies looked tasty but we bought from the food van on the Saturday which was great. On the Sunday we went for a 40min walk and came across the farm yard brew. Co a local brewery. We spent a few hours there meeting lots of lovely people. All in all Such a lovely spotless place, lovely people and a very nice atmosphere 🥰 highly recommend

We wanted something a little closer than the usual places we go in the lakes. We’re quite fussy but this place is so well maintained and it’s really peaceful. Facilities were very clean and there’s a great place to fish on site.

Absolutely fantastic weekend love this site we come every month, every other weekend, site is very clean and friendly, husband loves the fishing would highly recommend
