We like this site because it's fairly central to visit other places of interest, it's well kept, fishing on site, staff are pleasant. My only gripe is if you cycle the barrier is a bit of a hindrance, unless you go towards fishing there is gate, or cycle over the playing field. To another gate.Toilets/shower block well maintained always clean.A small shop on site has some provisions.Will definitely be backThanks a lot Terry

Quiet and peaceful, toilets & showers great, lovely and warm. My husband was impressed with the fishing, just shame it started to rain when he hadn’t been there long, British weather🙄

This was our second stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Site is clean and tidy. Shower block is impeccably clean. We had two dogs, plenty of room to walk them and let them off the lead safely.

The caravan site is so nice and clean looking, the office staff were friendly and helpful! The shower block was clean and quite modern! Not far to drive to garstsng or Lancaster set in a beautiful spot.Will definatly visit again.

We stayed in our campervan just for one night and really enjoyed our stay at Moss Wood, we will definitely be returning again soon. It was great to have the shop on site for essential items, the toilet/shower block was spotless and the campsite was completely silent at night. We also enjoyed a 40 minute walk to Farm Yard Brew Co and are looking forward to returning to Moss Wood, hopefully in the near future.

Stayed for 4 nights mid October, very quiet and peaceful. Spotless facilities and a small shop on site.Easy access for the south lakes, the forest of Bowland and Blackpool and the coast.nearest supermarkets are Garstang about 15 mins away.big field to let the dogs run round on. My only gripe is the pitches aren't level so take some ramps and chocks.

Campsite was well looked after and clean and tidy , warden and shop staff were friendly and very helpful. Shop is well stocked and crisps were lovely . Woodland walk and doggy field were excellent . Not many places to walk to as we were limited to not having a car but a motorhome. Plenty of public footpaths available though to avoid main roads. Shower block was clean and always warm , shower was a bit awkward as it required pressing the button every 10 seconds , suppose it saves on cost but pretty annoying . Overall a good place to chill as was very peaceful at night .
