Great adults site

Cooke, Janet - 29/07/2026

We really enjoyed our few days on this adult only site with its quite relaxing atmosphere. The open ( no hedges between pitches) hard standing pitches are large and ours had a wooden picnic table plus water & electric. The camp was well maintained as was the toilet/shower/washing up facilities. We loved the secure dog walking area and its fab views. The team were friendly & helpful, and the WIFI was probably the best we’ve had on all the campsites we have visited. Overall a good site that I would be happy to visit again.

Really picturesque, quiet, clean site

Preston, David - 27/07/2026

The site is set in beautiful landscapes surrounded by the fantastic peak district and elevated to enjoy these views. The site was spotlessly clean and very well organized. I have 1 very small concern, 1. I would've liked the possibility to book my particular pitch. Other than that I cant find any issues. Thank you Dave & Viv July 2027

Beatiful and Idyllic Spot

Gauci, Andy & Marie - 27/07/2026

We have recently returned from our third visit to Longnor Wood Holiday Park, Nr Buxton in The Peak District. We will definitely be booking again for next year. We stayed on a fully serviced touring pitch with our Folding Camper and the pitches are far bigger than on other sites. We had plenty of room for our attached awning and sun canopy on the front, still giving us space to sit out in the sun and house our car.The staff are very friendly, especially Liam and his partner, whom we have seen the past few years. He always makes time to chat and gives us tips on places to visit in the area or walk with the dogs.My full review is on Google and Trip Advisor as I could not write all the wonderful things I wanted to say on here as there was not enough characters.

Dear TeamPleasant stay. Sadly pitches too small which gives the feeling of being ‘hemmed in and on top ofEach other. Dog off lead field very welcome with wonderful views.Staff perfect. Latch needed on The Barn accommodation rear access gate to reduce the gate constantly banging.Toilet block great. Rural location perfect.
