We had a very relaxing time at Longnor , the site was set in a beautiful location with stunning views. The facilities were amazing , very clean showers and warm too. The dog field was fab for our little dog . Staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely booking more trips here
Brilliant accommodation, everything & more there. Site staff superb, nothing was too much. Site is situated close to villages & local attractions.
We've been several times to Longnor and we have always loved it. Peaceful, clean and dog friendly. Its also a great base for the many Peak District hikes. We will definitely be returning.
Fantastic site, great facilities and amazing friendly staff!
The site was immaculate. The heating (and radio) in the toilet block was a nice touch. Everyone on site was really helpful.
We had a 3 night stay, good toilet and shower block, although a little untidy, could do with a touch up.
Had a lovely one night stay. Facilities great. Only thing I would change is check in time. 1pm not 2pm would be more reasonable especially if only staying one night
The hot tub didn't work at all on our first day even though we was told an hour after check in. Called staff came out at around 6ish to be told 30mins to and hour its still wasn't heating up we checked at 10 before bed and it was still cold. On arrival there was a broken fridge on the table outside and an extension lead. During our stay there were so many flies. If this was our first time we possibly wouldn't stay again. The local pub the old Cheshire cheese was beautiful food was lovely and staff so welcoming. The dog walk is such a great idea and our dogs loved it. Only down side was a member of staffs dog jumping the wall from the woodland and barking loudly at out dogs on the field which distressed our 11 year old dog
Firstly, the local area is absolutely brilliant amazing views and great local attractions especially the caverns which we visited on our stay. Brilliant staff at Longnor very accommodating for the entire time with there and answered any questions we had. And even though when we were we did have a power cut which meant we could not use the utilities on one of the mornings however we’re even with this problem we could not vote the staff. They offered us places to go for breakfast and gave us an idea of going out for the day in Bakewell which was a stunning town and lots of local shops could not fault the stay at all. Will definitely be back.
