The perfect dog friendly stay

Absolutely blown away. The Drey was everything I wanted and more. The lodge was incredible, so peaceful, cosy and relaxing. We took our 2 miniature dashunds and they loved sitting on the balcony watching the animals over the lake. We didn't have to worry about about them getting out as the outdoor area was fully fenced. We couldn't have had a more relaxing holiday, we will definitely be staying again.

Fabulous

We stayed in the hedgerow lodge. It was very clean and very well equipped. The owners had thought of every comfort. The bedding and bed so comfortable for a good nights sleep. Little touches like milk in the fridge and flowers and chocolate are very welcoming. Everything provided in the kitchen including all cleaning materials. The setting is stunning with lovely walks from the lodge. As the setting is so beautiful we preferred to have our meals there. We visited Kendal which has many places to eat and several supermarkets. Hot tub brilliant after a day walking but think a canopy over it would be good as we did have a few rain showers. I would thoroughly recommend this lodge

If you are looking for a peaceful secluded location, with fantastic rural views, spotlessly clean and well kitted out accommodation, then this is the ideal place. We stayed in the Den which has a fox theme; the view from the veranda was so peaceful. The lodges are well placed for exploring the Lake district. Ambleside, Windermere, Bowness and Kendal to name but a few. Definitely recommend Littlemere Lodges for a relaxing location if walking or climbing the fells.the photo below is the view over the tarn from our lounge patio door.

We spent the most wonderful week staying in the nest with our 2 dogs. The lodge was immaculate and extremely comfortable. The jacuzzi bath was just the best after long walks (in very hot weather). Sitting on the decking in the morning watching the wildlife was bliss. The exercise field for the dogs ideal and brilliant. It’s very rural but that is just what we wanted and it was perfection. Thank you littlemere lodges we will definitely be back.

Superb relaxing stay

Ramsdale, Paula - 06/09/2023

My husband and I thought it was very central to places like Kendal and Windermere etc. This was our 3rd visit because we knew we would get a stunning lodge of high standards and the little touches like the fresh flowers, Kendal mint cake and milk are all a lovely touch. We had a hot tub this time and that was just the icing on the cake. We had a beautiful meal at the Duke of Cumberland in Kendal and we also visited Sizurgh farm where we had a stunning lunch and an amazing service. We enjoy it so much we never want to go home again.

Exceptional, lovely location

My 2nd visit to littlemere. My friend was ill but decided to go alone. Felt really safe. Beautiful location overlooking the lake. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. Nice touch with the milk and kendal mint cake and the fresh flowers. It's the little things that make it special. Although dogs are allowed and I did see some, I never heard 1 single bark. Littlemere is very central to explore all the lake District and the Yorkshire dales. Excellent value for money. Recommended to family who have also stayed there and loved it . Will definitely be going again.
