Amazing place

Nugent, Alison - 03/07/2026

Littlemere Lodges, we stayed in The Nest, was amazing. It was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very dog friendly and had dog treats, water and food bowls, cooling mat. It was so peaceful and had an exercise area for dogs. You’re not overlooked by anyone else and all we could hear were ducks, birds and cows. I would definitely go back again and would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful break

Because it was so relaxing and quiet, I don't have a dog of my own, but my grandson took his two small dogs with him, they were so well catered for, they loved it, we only went out on two days trips, one was the train from Carlisle to Settle and the other was the steam ship on Lake Windermere to the first stop on the Lake, then onto the steam railway and back. Everywhere seemed to be so well catered for people with dogs.Littlemere is so well tucked away in the countryside, the perfect place to unwind and relax, I'm just pleased I wasn't driving on the lanes near to the Lodge site. You didn't have to go too far (approx. 4 miles) to find the usual supermarkets. The Littlemere site was very clean and tidy, no litter blowing about, everywhere was well maintained. Unfortunately, didn't have a chance to meet the people who ran the place. Great to watch the antics of the ducks in/on the Tarn, watching the cows chewing the cud, or having a paddle in t

Beautiful Place

We could not fault Littlemere during our stay. My husband and I had The Sett and my Nan was next door in The Den. The whole place was clean and welcoming. The owners had thought of literally everything you could need. The surrounding areas are stunning and ideal for dog walks. There's even a little field in Littlemere just for the dogs to have a quick run etc if the weather isn't great or it's late at night. It was lovely to watch the local wildlife and interact with them. The ducks were so cute.Only a 5 min drive to Morrisons and 10 min drive into Kendal.

As Great As Ever

Haynes, Jane - 19/06/2026

This was our third stay at the Drey, our 7th or 8th at Littlemere. The Drey is pet friendly (our cat Jazz loves it) the hot tub is just lovely. The lodge is very private and peaceful. It is just a fabulous place to take yourself away from it all. Yet only a few miles from the wonderful Kendal and Lake District. The lodges are beautifully decorated, have everything you need. Even provisions to make a brew whe you arrive, fresh flowers and Kendal mint cake. We will most certainly be back.

We really enjoyed our stay In the Den at Littlemere. The Lodge had everything needed for our stay, cleanliness was spot on, we had a beautiful position on the waters edge (we just needed better weather!!)The location was a little tricky but we used the directions sent to us which were invaluable. It would have been good to see a member of staff, but my query was answered swiftly by text message Excellent value for money. We look forward to our next visit 😀

Peace & quiet guaranteed

Welch, Anna - 07/06/2026

We have been coming here since 2021 , perfect lodges in a perfect location. Lodges are exceptionally clean & very well equipped with everything you need, even for your 4 legged friend and only a short drive to a supermarket. Littlemere is perfectly placed to visit many of the Lakes attractions without a long drive to get there. If you don't feel like driving there are many paths to go walking directly from site too which we've done many times and it never gets old or boring
