We provide toilet and shower facilities, a washing up area and launderette, ice pack freezing, charging facilities, a chemical disposal point and free WiFi. Both the caravan and camping fields are very level with water supply and are enclosed by Cornish hedging with plenty of space in the centre of the fields for children to run around, fly kites and play ball games.
Guests are welcome to enjoy their own traditional barbecues and our on site Almond Tree Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and cream teas during the high season. If you fancy eating out, there are a wide range of eateries all within a short drive of the campsite where you will be treated to lacally made pasties, fish and chips, pub grub, cream teas, thai cuisine and much more!
The surrounding area is wonderful for walkers, hikers and cyclists. Walks to Kynance, Mullion, Cadgwith and the Lizard village start from the Holiday park so no need to drive. Spend a fun filled day with the family at one of the many beaches nearby which also offer various water sports activities. Take the kids to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary and the Chocolate Factory and Craft Centre and enjoy touring the Lizard Lighthouse Heritage Centre, and of course the National Trust Lizard Point, the southernmost point of England's mainland.

Lovely campsite. Very clean facilities. Relaxed with chickens, bantams and turkeys roaming around. Lots of hot water. Everything as you'd expect from a top campsite. The sole issue for some maybe the proximity to the road, but we found at night the traffic was negligible, and the rest of the time we barely noticed. Great site. Recommended 🙂
This is our third trip to Little Trethvas. We have been blessed each time with glorious weather. The site is within easy access if gorgeous countryside and beaches. We stayed in the quirky and delightful Shepherds Hut. The resident chickens and turkeys add excellent entertainment value!
Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. As it is a farm I understand that poultry will be free to roam, however having their coops outside the toilet / shower facilities beggars belief. Every time we had to use the facilities you would be walking through their mess. At night this was impossible to miss resulting in it being transferred to your footwear / tent. The shower / toilet facilities were converted sheds - Again a good idea however they were infested with old cobwebs, vegetation growing through the windows, other showers had no ventilation. It was a breeding ground for infection - and this during covid. Leaving a bottle of spray disinfectant and a note saying please clean down doesn't alleviate the real requirement of completely gutting the facilities. We left a day early as the best of the showers was now out of order.
What a beautiful place! So peaceful. If you want to truly escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life then this is definitely the place for you! The park itself is very well set out, I had a private garden with table, chairs and an outdoor log burner. It's very clean and well kept at all times. I stayed for a week and didn't have any issues. On arrival I walked into an idyllic farmhouse setting and was greeted by a lovely little dog, who was closely followed by Liz, one of the owners. I was shown to Kitty, a truly beautiful 1960s caravan. Clean and well kept with washing up liquid, washing up cloths, tea towels and kitchen towel provided. Liz asked if I'd managed to get any food on the way, and when I said I hadn't she popped off and returned with a tray laden with fresh crusty bread, butter, marmalade and everything needed to make plenty of tea! Just what I needed! Both Liz and Mike were amazing hosts, recommending local places to visit, making sure I knew the way by giving me a map and drawing the routes for me. Also offered to come and get me if I got lost!Liz even drove me to the supermarket and to the coach when it was time to return home.(But there is a regular bus from the top of the road so getting about is not difficult.)Both Liz and Mike made me feel so comfortable, it really was like home from home. They both made time for a chat every evening, or as and when we happy campers returned from whatever adventures we'd been having that day. And there truly were adventures to be had! From following country lanes, to paths across fields, to the astounding views to be seen all along the coastline. The local people are also very friendly, recommending places to visit, and showing me the shortcut paths to other places that I hadn't yet been to. I visited the lighthouse at Lizard point, and for a small fee went on the most interesting and amusing tour of the lighthouse. Standing in the top of the lighthouse with the whoosh of the lens turning, looking out for miles over the sea is an experience not to be missed. It's from here you can join the coastal path to Kynance Cove and beyond. The walk is just full of stunning scenery.I highly recommend visiting Little Trevthas, its a well kept, very friendly, homely place to be. One of the highlights for me was when Henry-a rescue Cockerell- hopped up on my lap for a cuddle. I cannot praise Liz and Mike enough. They're wonderful hosts who keep a peaceful holiday park in a beautiful party of the country. Amazing! Five stars are really not enough! I'll definitely visit again.
Nice , quiet site, clean and tidy. Not far from the Lizard so in an ideal spot. Chickens roam about freely. Would definitely stay there again
I visited here as a reccee for a potential group visit next year, all the facilities required are present, a great 'indi' camp site with all facilities from plane grass pitch to glamping/holiday shacks all in one place, lots of character.
After an 8 hour drive down, to arrive at Little Trethvas and to see Cowshed Cottage where we were staying, we couldn't have been happier! We had to 'check in' at the farm house where we met Mike and Liz.....we were given some information and as luck would have it, our cottage was ready for when we arrived (there is a 4pm check in, we had arrived earlier). Our cottage was beautiful with its own little courtyard and everything we needed for the week. Our puppy loved it! We saw Liz each morning on leaving who gave us lots of ideas and tips of where to go and how to get there. She was brill. We couldn't have asked for a better week :)
We camped with friends. We all live in Cornwall and belong to a walking group. We chose this site at is is not too far from home and in order to explore the cliff walks, coves and villages in the area which are wonderful. We had a great time.
Enjoyed freedom of self catering accommodation and meeting up with friends again. A beautiful area of Cornwall.
