We stayed in a pod and it had everything we needed for our stay. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It is very picturesque and you will definitely catch plenty of fish. Will definitely be back again

This is one of our favourite sites and has become our No. 1 for Mon - Fri breaks. Being just under 1 hour from home it is nice and easy for us. The site and facilities are always clean, the staff very pleasant and with eight lakes the fishing can be as easy or challenging as you want. As I'm only an occasional fisherman I prefer the well stocked touring site lake with dedicated pegs for each pitch where you're almost guaranteed a catch or two (apparently Redmile One - the specimen lake - has carp at 20lbs+, and is more challenging for the dedicated fishermen).

The Glamping pod is what is says comfortable and clean. I would recommend a electric kettle as I had difficulty with the gas hob but a neighbour helped it is a knackered. All items in kitchenette to enhance the stay. The bed is a large divan and a bit small for 2 but there is the fold out settee. The I formation booklet is out of date. I would suggest a map of the site to show where the café is although easy to find. If open delicious breakfast. If weather and it doesn't suit you bring a fan. All staff really helpful. I did not fish but plenty others where.i have a video but can't find it

This was our second stay at Janson Fisheries but our first stay in one of the pods. It took carful consideration to book as we’d stayed in another company’s pod which was not the best. Jansons pod didn’t disappoint us, it was very clean, bright and had everything you need, from bedding, towels to teaspoons. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. There’s a cafe on site as well as a tackle shop. We only fished the lake by the pods and the fish were a plenty. We cant wait to go back again. A brilliant long weekend

Return visit as always we enjoy coming to jansons pods good fishing and dog friendly available.

Lovely site great fishing and the POD accommodation was great, clean and cosy.We have reccomend family and friends and are at the moment looking to book again with friend in October.Thanks for a great stay.

Graat stay with great fishing would definitely return

The campsite itself was very quiet despite being busy, but the amenities were tired and neglected. The site was in need of some attention and TLC. The showers needed their silicone replacing as it was black, the water in the mop buckets appeared to be replaced just once during our 4 night stay, one shower head was broken.A park bench overlooking one of the ponds was covered in old bird poo.Feel that the fishing was the priority and the campsite an after thought, a real shame
