Lovely Pod stocked with everything we needed. Very comfortable bed, very clean, cosy and well maintained. Fishing directly in front of the Pod with a good selection of fish. Local shops about 3-4 miles away and close to Belvoir Castle.

We travelled from South Leicester on a Tuesday morning, arriving at Janson fisheries at approx 11.30 am. The site is very easy to find. After checking in at The Tackle shop, we proceeded to our allotted pitch. Very spacious & level with hard standing ehu/water. I was pleased to find they offer a concession rate for fishing if you have booked a pitch. The two guys in the shop were very helpful, providing tips/ advice on all the stretches of water available on the site. Our 1st session was on the lake directly opposite our pitch. We both caught several fish. The toilet blocks are very clean, complete with showers & plenty of hot water. We fished again the next day,until our check out time. This setup is very relaxed, with some great opportunities to catch quality fish of various size/species. They even have a Cafe on site, open when matches take place. I can really recommend this place for comfort, enjoyable fishing & great staff who really take pride in what they offer.

Had a lovely stay pods were clean and cosyFishing was fabulous some lovely fish outside side on pod lake and some outstanding fish in red pondIt is hard to find fisheries that will let dogs fish on site with you but here you have an amazing dog walking area and kimmy had the time of lifeAll I would have as I struggle with combi microwave , heaters is to have some instructions to handWe worked it outWe had lovely time and will be back in the springEveryone was lovely and happy to helpAnd fishing was awesome

Janson is a great place to come, fishing is good plenty for children to catch, tackle shop has what you need also good advice, caravan site has all the facilities that you need showers are very good. Linda and Jeff are really helpful would recommend them anytime.

Arrived om site and used intercom to be welcomed. We were om pitch 1 full service hard standing with fishing in front of the caravan. Other lakes within Walking distance. Cafe servicing amazing breakfast. Tackle shop for bait and supplies. Beautiful stay will be returning again in the New Year.

We had an excellent stay in one of the glamping pods.The pods had everything you could need, and the kitchen was well equipped. The layout is well thought out, and there is plenty of room for 2 people.Food wise - On the first night we went to the Indian restaurant up the road and this was lovely.From speaking with others, I think there are plenty of food delivery option surrounding the area that will deliver to the site, but we chose to cook in our second night.We both spent a full day fishing on Tommo's lake as well as some time spent on the lake in front of the pods. Caught plenty of fish :)There is a tackle shop on site that stocks everything you could possible need. There is also a CAFE on site for breakfast and some lunch items.The overall experience was thoroughly enjoyed and without hesitation, we will be booking again. The staff were very friendly and welcoming - It was so relaxed and just what we wanted.

Sheltered site, good facilities, places to visit within 30mins drive, a stake & curry house a short walk away.
