We had a lovely relaxing time at the park, the caravan was pristine and deserved the luxury description from the website. Check-in was efficient and very friendly, and the surroundings were very well maintained and delightful to see. The only thing we would liked to have was an on-site shop, although I understand the reason it isn't available. We hope to return very soon.
A lovely break in a beautiful location. The campsite and caravan were both excellent. My only concern would be the cost; £130 per night in a caravan is a little excessive and would be the only thing deterring me from returning.
Idilic setting on the side of beautiful Loch Lomond. Caravan was lovely and clean and all the kitchenware etc that we required. Lovely Arran Aromatics miniature toiletries in the bathroom. Only downside for us was that there was no shop on site for essentials and no local takeaways would deliver to the holiday park which was inconvenient for us as we would have enjoyed a night in without having to cook. Otherwise a great weekend in a lovely holiday park.
There was a half eating bar of chocolate left in the fridge, which would suggest it hadn’t been cleaned.Dust all over furniture in the livingroom, and kids clothes in the wardrobe.Unfortunately we didn’t take any photographs of the caravan.Another observation was lots of weeds around all the units which really lets this site down certainly wouldn’t think it was a 5 * site. Not a lot to do unless you have a car or boat, no activities on site, hotel within walking distance for food, drink.Site has a caravan as a reception due to a fire three years ago, so very limited stock, not ideal.Site does have a laundry this costs £8.50 for a wash and tumble dry of a small wash.Three nights cost £550 this I feel is very expensive for what we got.
travelled on public transport, bus stops so close & good choice of buses, caravan was lovely, home from home with everything you need, comfy beds. Friendly helpful staff. First night had wander round the holiday park & loch side location was beautiful, cooked & chilled on the deck. Had lovely walk to Luss & boat trip next day & last day got bus to Balloch - lots on offer there. Hotel across road from holiday park did lovely food as treat for our last night. Next time will bring stuff for swimming as loch at holiday park looked so inviting & will explore in the other direction
This is a beautiful site on the banks of Loch Lomond. The site is spotless as was the caravan. If the mattress had been better I would have given 5 stars, however I would definately recommend a holiday here. The staff are also amazing.
Amazing place to stay. Happy and helpful staff. Amazing scenery. Cabin was in pristine condition. I’ll definitely be back!
Lovely stay at this holiday park. Staff were helpful and friendly. Park very well kept and quiet. Views amazing. Didn’t miss WiFi at all. Will be back
All of the above. Local attractions suite busy on a weekend.
We booked a platinum pet friendly caravan for 3 nights, when we arrived we were highly impressed with the overall cleanliness and presentation of the caravan. In addition to the little touches which make a massive difference, a few satches of tea, coffee, milk & sugar. Cleaning products supplied and miniature toiletries all fantastic if like me you've forgotten the little things that are actually pretty essential. The site grounds were very well maintained throughout, calm and peaceful setting just what we were looking for. Have already recommended to friends and we will 100% be back soon!!
