A little hidden gem! Nestled in the valley, near to the town of Holmfirth, Holme Valley Camping is a superbly located retreat suitable for all ages. A friend and I travelled up from Shropshire and stayed two nights on the New Field, non-electric pitches. I am from Huddersfield and wanted to show a friend where I had grown up. The site provided a wonderful base within easy reach of all the beautiful countryside and villages Huddersfield has to offer. The site itself was easy to navigate, quiet and very clean. We loved the warmth and cleanliness of the toilets and showers - perfect for a chilly October weekend. Reception staff were friendly and, although we did not purchase anything from reception, it was well stocked with all essentials should we have needed them. The booking process was easy and, when we had a question, we were able to phone the site and speak with someone very helpful!We loved our stay. I plan to use the site as a base when I return to visit family in futu

We decided to book a hard standing pitch for our two berth tourer at Holme Valley. We fancied a couple of nights away in Holmfirth and were seeing tribute bands at the Picturedrome. The site is approx 1.5 miles outside Holmfirth. Our pitch was next to the pond and very scenic. A relaxing site with lovely people. There is a toilet/shower/launderette block. The launderette room has books and DVD’s. An enjoyable stay, we didn’t want to leave.

This was our second visit to the campsite. It was a flying visit just calling on Family in Honley on the way up to Scotland. Campsite is excellent for dogs there are nice circular walks from the site itself and we can walk directly into Honley or Holmfirth on footpaths. The facilities are beautifully clean and we also appreciate the self check-in because both times we visited we arrived after hours.

This was my second visit stopping in the willow cabin.My stay was excellent the cabin was very clean and the staff was very helpful and pleasant.The site is great and good for walks very peaceful settings. Handy for Holmefirth Sids cafe and also had a day out at Cannon hall farm will definitely return next year.

The site was well cared for, the facilities were spotless, staff were friendly and helpful providing lots of information on the local area. We enjoyed lovely walks along the river into Holmfirth which is a beautiful small town with lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
