We had a lovely short stay on site
We booked 2 pitches so friends could join us. We weren't disappointed with anything except the rain.Fruendly helpful saff. Well stocked shop although we suggested puzzle books/ colouring books would have been good to purchase as the weather was wet.Good value for moneyWe had a lovely walk, about a mile, to catch a bus into Weymouth. The buses were very frequent.Would 100% return
First time with a puppy- not sure the dog walking area is suitable with campers cooking their bbq next to it. Fields nearby off site though
What a great campsiteFrom the welcoming reception on Friday to Leaving on Sunday our stay was great. The booking was handled well and accounted for our different camping styles perfectly We were all in a group and celebrated my 70th perfectly with my family including all 9 grandchildren. The showers and toilets are immaculate and were close enough for none of us to need our own. The grandchildren had a great time and all want to return. We will definitely return.
We have been to higher moore for a few years now but always in our tent. This time we booked a pod as a last minute decision and had a lovely time as usual. Was extremely clean and lots of clothes storage just have to remember hangers if your bothered about that sort of thing. The mattresses unfortunately were more uncomfortable than i would have liked but didn't dampen our weekend.Staff are always friendly and welcoming and would definitely book again for the pod. We will be back in a couple of months camping anyway. Kids always enjoy the park and the toilets and showers are by far the best i have had at a campsite and the little shop is well stocked and the food vans they have are always top quality
This is such a great campsite, plenty of space for kids to play and make friends, but small enough that one of the toilet blocks is always nearby. Talking of which, the toilets and showers are very modern, spacious and clean. The site was pretty quiet after 10pm, only downsides were no obvious recycling facilities.Really nice little shop with lots of local treats and friendly staff. There was a horsebox bar, mobile pizza oven and musicians playing on a couple of days during our stay (May half term). The campsite being so close to Weymouth and the Dorset coast meant day trips were easy to organise. We'll definitely go back - it'll be hard to find a better campsite.
Clean facilities, nice pitch, shop and outdoor play area. Friendly staff and nice weekend events - wood fired pizza and marquee bar. Thanks for a great stay!
We love Higher Moor Farm! It’s our favourite family camping spot because the team is amazing and create a wonderful atmosphere. The site is great: location, facilities, lovely extras. The music and marquee bar were great on our last night too.
Great camp site , perfect weather. The team are super friendly and helpful , we will definitely be returning again.
Out of 3 nights stay there were groups of people up drinking til early hours of morning and making quite a lot of noise for two nights. We had to tell one group at 2.30 am to be quiet. I suggest a security walk around after curfew to check.
