We visited in January this year, our arrival was delayed due to the storm, but we had a great stay as always. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend this place to stay 😊👍

A fantastic site, large gravelled pitch, electric and tv aerial on pitch. A wonderful toilet and shower block, also laundry and washing up area within. Heated to a lovely temperature. Immaculately clean. Staff friendly and helpful. An easy walk into Aviemore, shops and restaurants. A wonderful stay, will definitely return. Thank you

Clean and exceptionally warm facilities; helpful staff.

Having some fully serviced pitches would be an advantage. I am 80 years of age and found collecting and disposing of water difficult, particularly in the winter on ice!My wife slipped and fell quite heavily when disposing of waste water.Sadly, the town of Aviemore is quite uninspiring and I noticed yet more bland stores and shops being built in recent years. The only building with any style is the Cairngorm Hotel. For class, see Grantown-on-Spey. I imagine many people come to Aviemore to visit the mountain. It is a disgrace that the funicular railway has been out of commission for over four years. The phenomenally expensive repair work failed after six months. This is another example of broken Britain!

Christmas Escape!

Hill, Michael - 01/01/2025

We have been lucky enough to stay here for Christmas for several years in our motorhome and booked in for this year too. Very clean facilities and really nice staff. Would be great if one of the showers could be allocated as a hot shower as I find water a bit on the cool side but we love it there anyway.

Excellent location and facilities

Ashley, Jo - 08/11/2024

We have used High Range many times when visiting the region being so convenient to Aviemore's shops and restaurants and having a Reception open till 10pm which is incredibly helpful. On this latest visit we found ourselves staying longer than expected and made use of the washing machines and dryers, another welcome bonus. The staff are so friendly and helpful too.

Perfect campsite

Lyon, Hazel - 06/11/2024

Stayed here several times now, perfect setting for doing all that Aviemore has to offer. This campsite is kept well and toilet/shower block is spotlessly clean and always warm. Reception staff very helpful. Good internet reception but unable to get the Tv to tune in but we don’t miss this. Easy walk into the centre of aviemore for food and drink but there’s a perfect restaurant at the entrance to the site with carry out options Love staying here Some noise of the A9 but it’s never bothered us at night as seems very quiet then
