Lovely site ..well maintained, quiet,clean toilets and showers ,and just a short walk from the town..Had a lovely relaxing time.

Enjoyable stay

This was our twelfth time at the Grantown site and we have already booked for next year. A very well kept site with excellent, clean facilities. Easy walking distance into the small town and its shops, restaurants and bars. Also

Stayed 3 nights at the caravan park. We were staying in the tent pitches. Originally booked for 2 nights, but extended for another night. Fantastic location. Shower block is great, and was kept very clean and tidy. “Toddler room” also a great facility for showering our 2 year old daughter. Had to get key from reception. Spacious area for the tents. Not actually allocated pitches, even though we were told it was when booking, but that’s not an issue. Would recommend the caravan site to stay at, and would definitely return.

The site is excellent and is situated within easy walking distance to the village.The staff as always are helpful.We were not made aware on booking that the wifi was no longer available as part of the site fee. To log onto the website added £23 for two people for a week. The village is pleasant but as all towns and villages the services have reduced owing to staff and running costs. Aviemore is about 20 miles away and has more services and has regular bus service.

This is a lovely site which is maintained to the highest standard and is in an excellent location. Staff are friendly and facilities very good. We visited the lovely Ballindalloch Castle, Brodie Castle and the excellent Brodiefair. In Grantown there are lovely walks along the river or along the former railway line and some independent shops to browse in. We ate at the Garth hotel. The food was very tasty but the outside is very weedy and needing some attention. My husband enjoyed coffee and toast each morning at the Ravenscourt Guest House, just along from the caravan park

Lovely staff, amazing facilities and overall great safe feeling around the park. Kids had an awesome time making friends at the park and cycling round the area. Will definitely be back.

We have stayed on the site four or five times and loved every minute. The site is well kept and the facilities are above and beyond excellent. There is so much to do nearby. Our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren were also on site and we visited nearby Landmark, which we all love and Loch Inch and took part in some of the great water sports there. We will certainly all return. Staff are helpful and friendly. We shopped locally, but unfortunately didn’t eat out this time.

The park is clean and nice size pitches. We were shown to a pitch with no discussion or choice as to where we were to be pitched. Ended up in “Gold” section but this area is sun deprived due to the trees and it felt very ‘dark’. If it had been better weather I would have asked for a better pitch but as it turned out, the weather wasn’t playing ball and it was dreich for majority of our stay. So, I would recommend looking at park map before your stay and requesting a pitch suitable to your needs, rather than the park choose it for you. Shower block needs more hooks in each cubicle and the shower curtains need looked at as they are too close to the area where you stand to wash and they cling to your wet body - yukkk! Positives are it is an easy walk into Grantown - 10 mins - and lots of choice of eateries. Co-op at end of road is handy. Climb to the viewpoint at the hill next to park for gorgeous views. Lots of place s to drive to drive to - Aviemore, Rothiemurchas Estate etc.
