Lovely campsite! The facilities were spotless, the staff were really friendly and the grounds were beautifully kept.We had gorgeous views from our campervan too!It's within walking distance of a couple of pubs, a tesco and the town, although it is quite hilly, so worth bearing in mind.We stayed during low season and although there were other people around, it was still lovely and peaceful.A really well-kept site and somewhere we'd loved to vist again if we are in the area!

Another year, another fantastic short stay.We own a pub so have very few days off in a year so we choose carefully where we stay.This place is perfect........Everyone we bump into are super friendly and the site is spotless.A short walk into Ilfracombe for pubs and restaurantsWe will be back next year as per normal.Thanks to all at Helle Bay that keeps this place running to a high standard.See you soon

Can’t fault the site. Spotlessly clean, lovely facilities. Enjoyed the nature trial with the dog. Only gripe, and this is nothing to do with the site, was that we visited at the start of October and everything in Hele Bay, within a short walking distance, was closed. Even the pub. We wish we'd discovered this place earlier in the season but we will definitely return next year. It was spotlessly clean everywhere. Nice size pitches, we had number 41. Grounds were well maintained. Staff were very friendly. Lovely facilities with a toilet, sink and shower in the cubicle. We would definitely recommend it.

We came upon this site by accident when travelling along the north Devon coastline towards Bude. It is in a valley , a long, narrow site, beautifully maintained and caters for all types, including rented chalets in a group, then caravans and campers in sections, and beyond the beautiful facilities block, another caravan section further along. There is no traffic noise to disturb your sleep. The toilet block is very modern and beautifully decorated with separate rooms containing combined toilet, shower and sink. Launderette and Elsan point there too. I have never seen a children's play area so very well kitted out with coiourful, modern equipment to keep children occupied for hours. As everything is on the same level you can't get lost on the site. Through the trees a river runs along quietly and an old building is lit at night making it look magical. We were made very welcome by the friendly camp manager and only stayed the one night but it is so lovely we hope to return.

We decided to start doing the SWCP in sections. We needed a base for our first week and this site fitted our requirements. The campsite is in a beautiful setting not far from Lynton. The owners were very friendly and helpful. All facilities were of a high standard - washing facilities, pitches etc.

We stayed at Hele Valley for two weeks in September and had a wonderful holiday. Our pitch was huge and had lots of space for our little pooch. Facilities were immaculate and very clean. I would definitely recommend this Site.
