This was our first visit to Hele and our first to Ilfracombe, we arrived slightly early but this was not a problem, first impression matter and they couldn’t of been better, the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the site was very well presented, the toilet block was always immaculate, over all we would gove this site a 10/10

Warm welcome.Site is immaculately kept. Pitches are large and spacious.Site was very peaceful. A very enjoyable stay. The only slight negatives I had were the tight access to the sight with a twin axle and the laundry is about a half mile round trip from our pitch.Less than 15 min walk to a beautiful small beach which is dog friendly.The Arlington restaurant at the Imperial Hotel Wadebridge offers a fantastic value seasonal lunch menu, free car parking at rear of hotel.

Upon arrival at reception the lady was extremely helpful and informative. We arrived early to check in but this was no problem at all. The site is really clean and well maintained, with plenty of room on each plot. The facilities were great and we found everything we needed for our stay. The site is around a 15 minute walk into the town or a short Uber ride which allowed pets. I would definitely recommend this site and will be returning in the future.

We would definitely return to Hele Holiday park, its a great location for walking into Ilfracombe and the site is very well run and kept very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful

We wer staying on the caravan and camping site.First impression as we arrived was that the site was really well kept up with lots of planting and neat grass. Shower block was excellent with its full en suite type cubicles and always spotless. Squeegee and mop left to clean up behind yourself. Just a shame not everyone is considerate enough to use it !! That’s no reflection on the staff as each morning I was there staff came in and checked them anyway. Hele Bay just a few minutes walk was beautiful and there was a cafe. The nearby garage could supply your emergency essentials. We can recommend the museum in Combe Martin as on our rainy stay we were welcomed and found the local information and objects fascinating. Ilfracombe harbour has a lot to offer in the way of eating and shops to browse although the High St is a little run down. Overall a lovely experience even though the weather was awful. We will be back.

Proper site for people who like camping plenty of room around camper I would pick a pitch with a bit of grass next time ,but did like the hedge on the pitch we picked so was fine .staff was friendly .the bay is great shame the pub wasn't open till evening .Nice walk to Ilfracombe.

We've been coming back to this site for several years now.Very friendly. Very well appointed and a short walk to the dog-friendly beach . A good pub meal is available in the Hele Bay pub nearby and great coffee in the beachside cafeI had to knock off a star for some late night music coming from one particular pitch and the following night, whilst not within the site's control , very late night building work from a nearby development which suddenly commenced after dark, causing disturbed sleep. On the whole though great site and will return
