Lovely site, very well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location within walking distance to the local beach and Ilfracombe - either via the coastal path or main road, both of which are hilly! Showers modern, spacious and very clean.

Hele Valley is an absolute gem holiday park . Location easy to find with the very clear directions given by the site in advance , every thing from the booking to using the facilities made very easy by the staff . Can’t praise the cleanliness of all the camp facilities enough . Lovely walk to ilfracombe ( even the climb ) worth it for the amazing views . Perfect stay … so much so that we have already booked to return !

Well managed camp site in sheltered valley quite near a small beach east of Ilfracombe.The best shower-block we've seen anywhere.Ideal if you want a quiet relaxing spot away from the town centre.But some distance from the town's restaurants etc, and parking in Ilfracombe is not always easy.

Fantastic little spot, quiet and secluded, yet a couple of minutes walk from Hele Bay, spotlessly clean showers and toilets and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended

We stayed for two nights and thought it one of the most well kept sites we’d stayed in . Spotless facilities and beautiful garden like surroundings in a wooded Combe . The staff were welcoming and friendly, we will be back .

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hele Valley Caravan Park with our dog, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! The campsite was beautifully kept, and the facilities were just perfect for us. The toilet block was immaculately cleaned, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A word of caution: the access road to the site is quite tight, so be sure to plan ahead to avoid any difficulties getting in. But once you're there, it's well worth it! 🌿 We had a fantastic time exploring the nature trail walk with our dog, and we really appreciated the park's proximity to Heale Beach, which is dog-friendly! Plus, there are some lovely pubs and restaurants just a short drive back into Ilfracombe, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Overall, we highly recommend Heale Valley Caravan Park for a relaxing getaway! 🐾🏕️🌊

Excellent. Park. Quiet. Clean. Safe. Value for money. Little beach close by with a nice little cafe. Cream tea. At the tea room on site lovely. Lots of places to eat close by Hele bay pub. Thatched inn. The harbour a 20 min walk but there is a hill we booked a pod type accommodation with the hot tub absolutely lovely staff on site friendly

We were going on a camping and backpacking holiday, but when we saw the weather forecast we were relieved to see that Hele Valley offered Camping Pods that suited our budget. It made a huge difference to the enjoyment of our holiday to have somewhere dry and warm to come back to at the end of the day - It's a good location too, we enjoyed visiting Hele, Combe Martin, Ilfracombe (All in walking distance if you don't mind a few steep hills) and Barnstaple, which was accessible by bus if like us you don't have a car of your own. The site is very quiet and peaceful, and you can easily reach the beach, the bay and a lovely working Cornmill which we would definitely recommend a visit to (the scones are to die for, and like the nearby bar has good vegan and gluten free options which has been a god send). The facilities at Hele Bay are in a good condition, the shower block and potwash were always nice and tidy, and the staff were friendly at check in/check out. We had a lovely stay at Hele!

I haven't been camping before so this was my first experience, and I've now been spoiled. The site was tidy, had lovely facilities (good showers, space to wash up in warm water, laundry facilities and electricity, and water per pitch). The staff were friendly and helpful, and Hele Valley was an excellent base from which to explore north Devon.
