An interesting 3 night stay. Rather cramped and some more hooks would be useful. One bed side light wasn't working. Could be improved with some form of cover over the outside deck as a shelter from sun and rain. The hot tub was excellent

On arrival we had already been given all the information we needed via email as well as an extra email informing us of road closures and what route to take. Check in was straight forward and everyone we spoke to during our stay were extremely friendly and helpful. The site is ideally placed with a short walk into Hele Bay and Ilfracombe. There are a couple of short cuts you can take to Hele Bay and Ilfracombe so you don't have to walk on the main road. Obviously being in a valley if you walk into Ilfracombe there are inclines for those that aren't able to manage this it's worth bearing this in mind. The site itself was spotless and having single toilet cubicles was ideal as well as a toilet in the shower cubicle. We chose the large hardstanding pitch. We noticed that not all pitches have the electric and water hook ups directly behind the pitch. So either check when you book or make sure you have long hose pipes and electric cable. Would highly recommend 😊

We had a great time again. The park is quiet, in a great location, but just a 20 minute walk to the harbour town of Ilfracombe.We've been several times before, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

A lovely Campsite with some nice little extras, such as the nature trail walk. Set in a beautiful little piece of Hele Valley .Lovely and tranquil, surrounded by trees with the sound of the stream running alongside.The only, teeny tiny criticism would be the showers...they are set on a timed push button which runs the water for 15 seconds at a time...I found I was constantly having to push the shower button, I couldn't lather my hair or rinse it without having to push it at least 4 times....perhaps a 30 second timer could be introduced?Other than that, would highly reccomend

The site is nicely situated in a narrow valley, it is quiet and very clean. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I had a comfortable stay in the studio pod. I knew site access was a bit hidden but unfortunately on the day that I was due to arrive the A399 was closed for roadworks, literally when I was about half hour away. The diversion was fine until my satnav decided to be clever and have me turn off into the back country lanes. I have a small car but hedges still closed in on me. I had about 6 miles of this with the latter half having no passing places. I was so relieved to pop out at the end and totally missed the entrance to the site - it is not that obvious. I eventually turned around on the A399 and found the entrance easily and realised that I had sailed past when leaving the country road. Once I knew where it was I saw the signs but it would help if they were larger. None of that deterred from a nice relaxing holiday. I highly recommend Hele Valley Holiday Park

The site is very well kept, toilets and showers really clean. Good facilities. Short walk to Hele Bay. Longer walk into ilfracombe. Well positioned site. Top end of the site much better for a plot in a sunny position, some plots seemed to be in the shade all day. The farm at top of site sells gorgeous sausages. The corn-mill tea room at the end of the drive is also a must visit. A really peaceful site, we will almost certainly return

First visit and most definitely not the last. The site was so clean and well staffed. We had a nice welcome and easy arrival. The toilets/shower blocks & washing up area were the best we've seen. A key code to enter and indivial complete toilet/showers in each cubicle. Nice location to a dog friendly beach, the Hele Bay pub, a Spar and fuel. Also its a 25 min up hill walk...not steep just steady... to the harbour. Buses are available. Plenty of parking if you're going in a car. The harbour area has so much to offer. Hele Valley holiday park was great for location, cleanliness, being dog friendly & the surrounding trees and nature walk. In one word....PERFECT.

great location beach 5 mins walk away pub over the road .stayed with friends asked to move pitches next to our friends moved no problem at all .
