Went with friends to try out a bit of winter campervan touring. We had rain and sleet and ice. The hard standings were level and spacious and even with a downpour it was possible to reach the warm clean facilities without getting too wet or muddy.Our visit was in November so understandably the shop/cafe was closed but I look forward to re visiting in warmer months as everything looked lovely.Very hospitable friendly hosts - thank you.

Excellent flat gravel pitches. Warm shower room/ toilets. Good location for easy access to Minsmere, Southwold etc. Good base for cycling. Elec included in the price.

This is up there on our best sites list even being winter and cafe large toilet block closed we found everything was still kept lovely for the few that were there the open bathrooms were especially nice being warm and clean.We particularly enjoyed cycling the quiet roads and forest tracks.Thankyou.

A lovely clean and tranquil site. On arrival we reported to the reception were we were told and shown were everything was available on site and even shown to our pitch. I was very surprised how clean and tidy the site was. All the amenities were available to enable a lovely comfortable stay. Washing machines and dryers, A lovely selection of items available in the shop / reception area. Toilets and showers were spotless. A lovely play area for children. Also just a 5 minute walk away a lovely bakery shop / Cafe with fresh bread & savories etc...I would definitely recommend this site to anyone without any hesitation. Another relaxing quiet stay at Haw Wood. Always great site to explore the local sites. Especially love doing a November visit enjoying the crisp freshness of Autumn.

Excellent facilities, well maintained and the staff where very helpful and cheerful, doing as much as possible to make the Astro week a success. They defiantly seceded, it was extremely enjoyable week and I am looking forward to the next one.

Despite the damp conditions the owners did everything possible to make the event excellent. They went above and beyond given the numbers to open the cafe and as usual the facilities were excellent

Georgina and Dan made sure our stay was very enjoyable. The site facilities are excellent, clean and comfortable. Recommended!
