We stayed here over the September weekend good site for a few nights would stay again.
A new part of the Lakes for us and it was a great place to explore from, despite the stormy weather. Booking, arrival, pitch, facilities etc were all great. We really liked the new individual shower/toilet facilities. Service point for campers and mobiles to empty grey water would be a real improvement.
Thank you for your review. We do have the service point behind the shower block for the grey water waste.
Absolutely love harbour lights Staff very friendly and helpful.Pitches are spacious, clean facilities Ice cream to die for Plenty walks around if you have dogs Nice beach near by Once you’ve visited Harbour Lights you’ll be back for more
We were camping in a tent here and were very pleased with the facilities including modern shower and toilet blocks which were always sufficiently clean. The location is also great, within walking distance to Haverigg.
I found the Staff exceptional. The facilities were excellent with one small problem. Sadly the flow of water from the basins in the modules was pathetic so a wet shaver like myself, or indeed anybody bothering to wash their hands after using the toilet, had to be very patient. And I never thought I would ever say it but the shower water in modules 6, 8 and 9 was too hot!
great chilled out site, good for both older and younger campers. Great shower toilet set up. Great access to beach. The only downer for me tends to be campers with seasonal pitches, they seem to think that because they are on seasonal pitch they don't have to follow the rules like everyone else. The 4 days I was on site, there was constant noise late into the night and constant dogs barking throughout the day all coming from the top area of the site where the seasonal pitches are located. Really annoying ;-(
Lovely view of the mountain at side of van staff friendly and helpful great bar called the ski bar good food again staff friendly. The only down side was the toilet block no hand wash and a bit worsed for ware the shower block and toilet much better. The Pot holes coming into the site was a bit dodgy they were avoidable but only if no on coming traffic. Would have rated higher just for these few points it wasn't a bad camp site .Ty to the cleaner for handing in my phone ❤️Steve & Diane
I did not expect to be woken each morning with building works going on behind my pitch. Had I have known this I would never have placed a booking.Site also needs better drainage to deal with rain.
Thank you for your review.I wish you had come into the office to let me know you weren't happy with your pitch and I would have done my best to move you to another.
Given wrong pitch on arrival and the lad didn’t know how to correct it , given grass none electric pitch which then flooded everything. Took me two days to dry everything out at the next site / stop on my two week trip. Not a good start. The picture is after I moved out of the duck pond.
Thank you for your review.I can see you were booked on grass without electric hook up but I do believe you were asked to call into reception upon my return, which you didn't do unfortunatley. I would have been happy to help you
We loved it! Really clean and comfortable. Great location and the campsite was quiet for a good sleep. Haverigg is a great base for exploring the area. We will definitely be back.
