The site was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay even with the difficult weather conditions. Every member of staff were very helpful, kind and always available.
We had a wonderful winter wonderland New Year stay. Lovely walks with the dog along the Dava way with the added challenge of lots of snow. Unfortunately my snowy photos couldn't be uploaded.I return to this park a couple of times a year as the pitches and facilities are maintained to a high standard. I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The park is great for exploring the area and Gantown-on-Spey is a lovely town.
We stayed 4 nights at Grantown on Spey on a fully serviced pitch with our Motorhome it is a very nice site we have stayed there quite a few times now but this was the first time we have stayed at the site in winter the staff were excellent and very helpful and they kept the road to our serviced pitches clear of snow because it was heavy snow when we stayed there and Tilly in the reception was very helpful and kept us up to date with the road conditions traveling north and she arranged to get one of the staff to dig out the deep snow from the front of our motorhome when we decided to go go home we had booked a extra night but decided to go home because the weather was getting bad with snow for the next few days with Heavy Snow but we will definitely be going back to the campsite in the summer time toilet and shower block were spotless as well and good facilities on the site for Motorhomes as well and we enjoyed the street party they had on Hogmonay night a fantastic firework display
This was our first time ever away in our caravan over the New Year period and we have been caravanning for close to 30 years. Grantown on Spey caravan park is lovely, the toilet block was exceptionally warm and cosy and the day after we arrived we were hit with the snow (1st January 2026- New Year’s Day )We were supposed to stay 4 nights but like other people decided to head home early with our car and go back to collect our caravan at a later date. The snow fall is the worst we’ve had since 2010, and it just kept coming. The staff at the caravan park were extremely helpful, continuously shovelling snow and keeping the roadways and paths clear, very helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to help. We will return to spend more time there but not in the winter months.
Booked from 30th Dec to 3rd Jan . On arrival due to the weather all the taps etc were frozen , the warden instructed us what to do etc . No problem, got water up and running and connected to our caravan . My biggest concern was that none of the foot paths round the site had been gritted they were lethal in some parts to walk on . I did email the wardens but got no response. However the following day the snow started which did make it easier for walking . Apart from that we never have any issues on this campsite, come here regularly, showers are lovely and clean , even have underfloor heating ! The site is close to the town which is perfect for us . Looking forward to booking for 2026 .
we had a very nice break, the staff were great and very helpful, we walked up to the main square where there was a party going on to celebrate new year great time was had by all.
We stayed for the Hogmanay celebration. This was our second visit. We find the site ….. from the friendly welcome, to the pitch size, the cozy toilet block with great showers and Radio 2 playing in the background, the absolute quiet at night, and the easy walk into town, absolutely 5* perfect. Thank you. Ps: it snowed a lot when we were there but the site mini snow plough was out keeping roads clear. He dug a path out for us on the day of departure.
However - Toilet block looking a bit tired with insufficient hooks in showers. Also the back of pitch B10 we were in was being used as a path by several customers
We stayed from 23rd to 28th December paid premium rates but you wouldn't think it was Christmas apart from Xmas music in toilets and a Christmas tree outside reception there was loads of empty pitches so I guess the price put people off you lost a good opportunity to reduce prices and fill site over Christmas with maybe some entertainment thrown in. I and my wife was very disappointed with the none Christmas spirit and would not recomend this site over Christmas to anyone we meet.
Spacious pitches and spotless facilities. Love the location with walks just outside the park. Lovely little shops in Grantown on Spey. Really love this place.
