I needed a site clos to Y Bala for the Sunday race. The campsite was the perfect distance away to be quiet and close to the event for an early start. Facilities were east to access and excellent.

Wonderful surroundings pitched liked side and watching all the people boating having fun. Friendly helpful staff, excellent showers and toilets and Bus stop right outside campsite. Definitely recommend

Lovely campsite by the banks of Bala Lake. Easy check-in, good communications (about closed road due to triathlon), clean facilities and lots of space.

Lovely caravan site for families, amazing location with direct access to the lake. Helpful staff on hand and brilliant facilities. Couldn’t have asked for anymore, would definitely return.

Large campsite in an ideal location for Bala Lake. About 3 miles outside of Bala town along a bus route. Facilities were very good and cleaned regularly. Staff were very friendly and helpful too. Our only issue was the ‘free for all’ parking outside of designated pitches. We were allocated a hard standing pitch which was great. Unfortunately the next day a car with tent box parked pretty close to us followed by van, who was part of the group, parked so close we couldn’t have put our awning out if we had wanted to. As we were only there for a further 2 nights we didn’t complain. Also, we have noticed that this has become more prevalent, the lack of consideration for your pitch. People walking between you and your van when sat outside. On one occasion I nearly knocked someone off their bike when opening the van door because they were cycling so close to the van. Saying that, that is not the parks fault but the ignorance of some of the people camping there.

We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The facilities were excellent — the toilets and showers were spotless, and the pitch was level and well maintained. We had a warm, friendly welcome from the staff, and it was an added bonus that we could speak Welsh.Overall, a lovely campsite with great service and clean amenities. We’ll definitely be returning.

We had a great time at this campsite, pitches are huge giving you plenty of space and the lake access is lovely. Only thing I will say is having more dog waste bins around the campsite would be helpful as well as another toilet block, we were on the opposite side of the campsite and having to walk up the hill everytime we needed the loo wasn’t fun especially in the night!

Well managed site, toilets and showers really nice. Lovely lakeside location. Impressed by the attention to waste and recycling. Diolch yn fawr,
