Lovely views, modern and spotless facilities. Pitches for tourers either with sea views or closer to the toilets to suit sll. A walk along the coastal path takes you to the small town of Port Patrick. Plenty of places to eat while watching the sea and little harbour.Path to town isn't suitable for ederly or disabled. Streep climbs and uneven ground. No local taxi firm so driving neccessary if you can't manage. Site has all you need. Dishwashng area, laundry. We will certainly go back.
Our van was immaculate and spacious, plenty space for 5 of us. The kids loved the large play park and the freedom to go on their own, we could see them from the van. Great location for a coastal walk into the village, we absolutely had the best time.
We booked two nights but only stayed for one. Not the campsites fault, we just wanted to move on.The site is well kept and the staff very friendly and helpful. The warden advised us to change our booked pitch to another one and we are glad he did, the view was amazing.
Great stay. So peaceful but was October. Plenty food and drinks available in Galloway pub or down in harbour. Everyone friendly and clean toilet/shower block. Roasting hot shower was great
This park is exceptionally run buy Jim & Annette who are fantastic at running this holiday park. The attention to detail & superb cleanliness is a credit to them. The holiday park is a wonderful quiet environment to allow family time & also chill time too. The whole park is so we'll cared for.The Galloway Barn is a fantastic place to relax, eat & drink with amazing & attentive staff. This park is definitely the best we've stayed at. Thank you Jim & Annette.
Chemical and grey water wase disposal facilities a long way from touring caravans and loo and grey water tanks need transporting in the car. Appreciate an additional chemical waste disposal on the clifftop is impractical but a grey water soakaway would help.Otherwise excellent site.Clean, friendly, safe and good value for money. Also the churned up tarmac on the cliff top spoils it a bit.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay though.
Facilities were lovely and clean and showers were fantastic. Could have done with a stool to put kit on while in the shower and the shower block was quite a distant from the pitch. Was really handy for in and out Port Patrick and would use this site again.
Lovely clean site with great facilities. Top pitches have great views of the coast and it’s a short walk along the coast path into Portpatrick.
Good touring site. Showers clean and plenty of hot water. Lovely walk along the cliff to Port Patrick. The town itself has nice pubs with outside tables with views over the harbour. Port Patrick golf club excellent.
