Immaculate!

Barnes - 13/10/2024

Our first time to Galloway point, from checking in to leaving the staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother. You could immediately notice that the site was immaculate and very well kept. Excellent location just a short coastal walk to port Patrick harbour and it's amenities a number of pubs all serve food. Stranraer is just a 20 minute drive if you want to do a big shop or just have a stroll round the shops. The statick we stopped in was brand new, overall location, staff, accommodation all excellent special thanks to Jimmy the site manager for he was very helpful we will definitely be back mr Barnes.

Great sea view.

Johnston, Russ - 04/10/2024

5

It had been many years since I last visited this site it's got bigger since then but not lost its appeal.Well maintenance site friendly staff RV pitches well spread out, level, all with electricity. Everything in the site is scattered non uniform high and low levels which give it site appeal. Facilities clean and functional only criticism was the toilets are ventilated with extractors and open windows, they are cold, the shower curtain screens are like magnets and want to stick to you when in shower. Pleasant stay though.

Brief encounter

Lomax, Andrew - 03/10/2024

We stayed two nights in a chalet pod and unfortunately the one full day we were there was the only bad weather day of our holiday. This makes it difficult to be objective but based on our limited experience everything seemed clean and well-maintained. Staff were very helpful in the brief contacts we had with them.

Immaculate Friendly Site

Goudie-Bradford, Barbara - 30/09/2024

We arrived slightly than expected, our pitch details were left with a lovely person who explained about the site and answered any questions we had.The toilet, shower, kitchen were immaculate and well maintained. There is washers/dryers at a reasonable cost, a nice play park for the children and small games room with arcade games if the kids and parents want to play (at a cost obviously). We had pets and walked them round the site. Plenty of dog poop bins but there was the odd occasion where a lazy dog owner didn’t bother lifting their dogs mess. Please don’t do this, it ruins it for the rest of us especially when there is small children around. The hard standing pitches are a good size, near the toilets which has a ramp up but please let the staff know in advance if you need access to the disabled facilities so you can get the correct key. I don’t but that’s my fault. All in a fabulous site!

What a view

McNab, June - 23/09/2024

The views from the top touring field were fantastic. Tho far from toilet block etc. There are however pitches close to facilities but no view so you make your choice. Facilities basic but clean. Staff really nice, and helpful. We actually had to change our booking and it was no trouble and we appreciated that we did not lose our deposit. Nice touch.
