Strategically located near the Ferry Terminals of Stranraer and Cairnryan, the park boasts excellent road connections to the rest of Scotland and Northern England, making it easily accessible for visitors seeking a tranquil getaway.

The park's commitment to providing a quiet and peaceful environment for relaxation is evident in its emphasis on quality facilities. Through regular refurbishments, Galloway Point has managed to modernise the park's infrastructure while preserving its natural beauty. The result is an inviting haven that attracts visitors, especially during the spring and early summer when the surrounding flora is in full bloom, adding to the park's charm.

The touring season at Galloway Point runs from March to October, offering a mix of hardstanding and grassed pitches that command stunning views across the Irish Sea. All pitches come equipped with electric hook-up points, with electricity included in the nightly tariff, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests.

A highlight of the park is its modern shower block, which features state-of-the-art facilities. For entertainment, Galloway Point features an onsite games room and children’s play park which ensure a fun-filled experience for the whole family. Just a short walk from Galloway Point, guests can pay a visit to the ruins of Dunskey Castle. The castle offers stunning views of the Irish Sea and the surrounding landscape.

Excellent location, fairly easy walk to the village but take your time. Brilliant pitch overlooking the sea but make sure you ask for a sea view pitch.Facilities block is first class but a bit of a walk, so could be a problem for disabled people.Fabulous welcome.
