Stayed over on a Friday evening, very quiet and spotlessly clean
First time we went was just for one night camping so didn’t see much but second time we camped for two nights and absolutely loved it, watched a cricket match on the grounds beside us, went for the lovely walk within the grounds and just chilled out and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, will definitely be returning.
Nice place in the park, good secured an clean sanitation facilities
We were amazed by the variety of sports local people were playing in the park . The facilities were immaculate modern and secure for people staying here .The young ladies in the ice cream shop were a fund of local knowledge and very polite and kind .
Dungannon Park is a beautiful site and the facilities are first class. Staff very helpful and it is good value for money. However as regards safety, I observed that a caravan had a huge free standing gas cylinder outside Which I thought would not be permitted. Also, commercial type vehicles constantly moved around between the two caravan sites, especially after 10.00pmwhen no staff were present. This appeared to be particularly dangerous as children were using the adjacent playground. This has somewhat spoiled an otherwise excellent site, and presents a health and safety issue which would need to be addressed.
Our first impression wasn't great as we arrived just before 6.00pm to be told that reception was closed and with a barrier, we wouldn't be able to get in. However we managed to get in when someone else came out and had found a pitch with the utilities open but decided to walk down and see if we could find anyone about.Fortunately, we came across 2 staff and when we explained, they couldn't have been more helpful. They confirmed they had a pitch reserved for us, gave us information about the site, the access code card and showed us around the facilities before taking us to our allocated pitch and making sure we were ok.We thought the park is lovely and had a walk around the lake. The facilities were the cleanest and best laid out that we saw in all our 2 weeks holiday.
A great site, with lovely environment, good facilities, a good children's playground and fully serviced pitches. The staff were very friendly and helpful.A few issues:1. We were shown to fairly unlevel pitch, even though there were unused level pitches2. The facilities for washing dishes were very limited - only one sink3. The toilet block is quite a distance from the pitches.
I loved Dungannon Caravan park and would highly recommend this site. Only park I have ever stayed that had excellent access to WiFi. Great showers and toilets, staff very friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay here the park is spotless and the park is close so we could watch the kids from the caravan, close to town and shop just outside the park. Beautiful walks and an excellent dog park. The only thing that would stop me from booking in future is the maximum of 7 days stay policy.
Stayed here before a few times. It’s a great campsite, on beautiful well kept grounds.Lovely walks around the lake and paths around campsite.Immaculate facilities and friendly staff.
