Well kept site with good facilities

Bloom, Stuart - 02/07/2022

5

Excellent site. The details of bus routes into Belfast need to be updated and should include advice to take the 15 minute walk up to the hospital to use the Glider service rather than the service running from the Ice Bowl, which is infrequent and pretty much non-existent on Sundays.

Super facility

Caldwell, Kelly - 01/07/2022

Great safe facility close to Belfast and other great amenities. All the services you need, it was spotless and most importantly really safe and good value for money. It’s a shame other councils don’t provide the same around the province. They could learn a lot from Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council.

Absolutely great set up at this campsite. So central.!

McCafferty, Breege - 30/06/2022

This was an absolutely great place to stay if visiting Belfast. It was surrounded by activities but you wouldn't have known once you were in this leafy, quiet and convenient campsite. All amenities catered for and I personally felt very safe within its key padded gates.

This site is very well placed for sailings out of Belfast Port. Having pitch allocated + code to barrier in advance is excellent set up. The key pad for the big gate wasn't very obvious. Toilet block was poor.

Great stay!

Coles, Erica - 29/06/2022

The park was very nice and the other campers were very friendly. We felt very safe there. The only downside for me was having to walk 10 minutes to another location to add a night to our booking, or if you wanted to purchase tokens to do your laundry.

Easy access to Belfast

George, Gill - 24/06/2022

Clear instructions for arrival, large pitches and very clean sanitation block. The site is close to a busy road but there is no view of this- sheltered by lots of trees.Close to restaurants, cinema and ice bowl meant we could be entertained if we wanted. We cycled into Belfast- so easy from the Comber Greenway right beside the site. We also took the bus in- a day ticket is good value.
