This caravan and tent site is well managed and maintained. I enjoyed my walks along the Comber Greenway just alongside the park. The only issue I found is that the passcode entry keypad is not well signposted and I had to get someone to assist me on first entry. A good caravan park in the city.
This is a small and quiet site. The booking system and key pad entry is easy and makes you feel very safe. It has good amenities on site and shops / cinema did bowling very close by. There is a good public transport network locally. My only criticism is the showers which seemed to be very variable in temperature of more than one was in use.
I was unable to get in due to the gate code not working...Others had the same problem...I had asked for a refund but got no response...
Not the cheapest site (especially when the advertised free WiFi isn't functioning), but in a great location. Great walks and cycle rides off the site and good amenities within walking distance. Great fish and chip shop by the nearby garage with friendly staff and a scrummy fish supper. Would recommend for those visiting Belfast with good bus services just off the site into the city centre. Will definitely return next year.
We have stayed several times. We cycled to Belfast and locked them up next to the big fish. The campsite is a great location, very clean and excellent facilities. We will return !
Nice place to stay everything we needed. Undereducated into Belfast for Titanic and Red bus.
Very good spot in pleasant surroundings. Well maintained self check in easy to do.Close to bus into Belfast and shops and restaurants.Particularly good spar and off license near by.
We had a quiet stay for an overnight. Facilities clean and site quiet.
We stayed here for one night to attend a concert in Belfast City centre. Dundonald site was well located and easy to find. Access via the keypad at the gate was easy, and we found our pre allocated pitch with no problem. Each pitch has its own electricity and water supply,.and the facilities were clean and well maintained - toilets, showers, washing machine and kitchen. There is also an outdoor covered washing up area. As we were heading for the city centre, we can't really comment on the immediate area.We will definitely visit again for a stopover.
Arrived at site (keypad is on passenger sides in layby area to left) and was greeted by the helpful and pleasant warden who explained where our pitch was and the facilities. Very quiet and tidy site. Close to the ice bowl and food outlets. Used the facilities for showering.... Hot and plentiful water, clean and tidy shower area, no money required to use showers. Will definitely be returning .. loved our visit.
