Nestled in the green hills of Castlereagh, Dundonald Touring Park offers a calm and peaceful location for caravanners and campers. The site is located 5 miles from Belfast, providing visitors with the ideal base for exploring the city and the scenic County Down coast.
Adjacent to the campsite lies Dundonald Ice Bowl which offers a host of fun activities for the family including an ice rink, tenpin bowling and Indiana land adventure play-world.
Also neighbouring the site is an 8-screen cinema, American adventure golf, indoor laser combat and a number of licensed restaurants.

Good facilities on site and many restaurants nearby. Very handy location for visiting Stormont and Belfast city centre. As all booking is done online and entry to the site is via a code, we didn’t have contact with any staff which is a shame.
Toilets and shower areas very clean. Staff very friendly. However cost of washing clothes unexceptable. Had to take to relatives house . Were able to do that because we were staying there because of house renovations.if we had been on holiday far from home we couldn't have done that. The price jumped within a week of us arriving. £2 one week £5 the next.??????? Spare ground on the right as you enter should be made into children's play park as other children's activities provided are expensive. Campers have no means of getting water. I noticed a young child who was camping having to go to a tap in between motorhomes to fill his water gun. He wouldn't have had the sense to watch out for cars. Anyway I did appreciate having the park to go to as my daughter works in nearby hospital.
Ideal location for access to Belfast. Close to the ferry port, with excellent public transport links to the city centre. We used the bus service on two days to get in & out - even dog friendly. within walking distance of Stormont estate - we had a great afternoon there walking the dog. Also, close to the Ice Bowl, cinema & crazy golf, together with a range of restaurants, bars & take aways. Also very secure, with gates accessed by a 4 digit pin number. also close enough to visit Strangford Lough & Bangor amongst other places, the shower blocks & other facilities were clean & well maintained, if a bit basic. Would recommend.
When making booking all beit for 2nights (convenient for hospital intensive care unit of our 8mth granddaughter) I needed to book 2 different pitches to be able to stay. No problem as it was a bank holiday weekend. However when I booked IE Thursday night I then attempted to book the Friday only for the booking site blocking multiple booking. However after phoning ice bowl I was able to do so. Megan was very helpful. From a visiting tourist point of view this would prove frustrating and perhaps not aware to be able to ph the ice bowl. In the past I have meet oversea visitors at the gate hoping to book and stay at the park again not knowing to go over to the ice bowl.Perhaps u could look at overcoming this situation.Perhaps a contact number that visitors would understand. I trust what I have just wrote makes some senseYours a senior citizenTrevor ( this is not a complaint) 🚌
The location plots staff and cost were excellent A great deal of road noise but to be expected given it’s location so near to Belfast
We were very happy with the facilities available at the site, although we felt it was expensive. The facilities were clean, but we never saw any staff on site. The site was quiet despite being full our first night. The grass was short with adequate hardstanding for our motorhome. We used the bus stop nearby to travel into Belfast on 2 days. Information about how to get the cheapest ticket and route maps would have been useful. The information office was locked during our stay.
What a great stopover, when heading for the boat the next day.. very clean and secure , and 2 minutes walk to a number of restaurants. Fantastic stop over.
Site was small and clean. Close to bars and restaurants. Good location for bus into Belfast, last bus back just after 10pm
Excellant site clean and tidy perfect for what we wanted before we got the ferry
